I would not recommend this firm at all like many experienced , some attorneys want to hear your side and you can talk to them this ones they will charge you for anything ,bad communication they never call back,I got and estimate than it jump to a higher number after I trusted them with there word, all I got is don’t worried about it and focus on ur case but ofcurse I have to worried about it “money don’t grow in trees”, I paid and don’t matter what option I would take it will come to the same price, When i complained about it they told me they don’t work for free and that they can’t work for minimum wage and told me good luck with finding another Attorney who can represent me as if they where making fun of me or some sort of bullying, there speak unprofessional I got cus back for complaining about my situation,Don’t trust them like they will fight for you with there heart because they won’t, now I’m stock with a bill and have to represent my self in trial. I trust them once and I gave them a second chance and same problem like if they take advantage of the situation. If they recommend you some where else don’t do it also one way or the other they will over charge and you will end up in the same position. Sad to experience this situation after you trust them at the end of the day I told them thank you and god bless them.

If it's not an easy divorce with kids and custody issues I suggest looking for other options. Be sure you come with tons of money if it's a long divorce. They answer to your money. You go through many lawyers and most are very green. It's a uphill battle don't add to it by trusting these lawyers with your families future. Learn from my mistakes.

I contacted Bighorse and Associates based off the recommendation of a co worker. I wish I would’ve spent more time vetting an attorney because this one didn’t work for me. Let me mention this is my first time dealing with a law firm so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I believe I received poor service. Important documents to initiate my case were sent to the wrong email address with not so much as a courtesy that they were coming my way. It took them 12 days to follow up with me about the documents. At that time I discovered the email address was incorrect. I was going to terminate services at that time but decided to stick it out because the lawyer offered to get some of my required information via phone call free of charge It just went downhill from there. No progress was made on my case unless I initiated contact. When this would happen they would request additional documentation from me. Required documentation should be requested upfront, at the same time, so my case can be packaged and ready to go. A checklist would’ve been helpful so I know what documentation is missing. The wrong email error came back on me because covid shut down the courts. If they had been more proactive and communicative I believe my case could’ve been filed prior to the shutdown. Throughout the 4 months as their client I received only one statement when monthly statements were supposed to be provided. I’m now out $2600 and back at square one because of course they want their money upfront which leaves them no incentive to work on your case. I recommend you search elsewhere for a lawyer that will diligently work your case because you won’t find that here.

I retained Bighorse and Associates to help me with a contentious divorce case, including a DVPO. Frankly put- they need to get their act together. I am still beyond words for their lack of professionalism. I was in such a vulnerable position and had high hopes of Amber and her firm, but they let me down beyond words. It would serve them well to show a little more empathy and patience towards their clients. I would NOT recommend these attorneys for representation, and would STRONGLY urge someone to seek out another firm.

Heard good things and sought them out. They seemed nice and willing to help but never returned a call nor email. Unfortunate. Editing to add since the comment made in review, was hoping that I would change my response, but is now not showing. It was twice as unfortunate that we tried to work with them again, lost our case, they didn't care to look at our proof of the other parties manipulative actions, we lost, and the outcome has not been great. They even spelled our names wrong.
