A few months ago, I found myself doing some hung-over Googling on a Saturday after a series of poor decisions. I took a chance and called the firm that Casey is part of, Puget Law Group. No attorney will guarantee an outcome, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for with legal representation. Casey Arbenz represented me in Thurston County Court and 100% knew what he was doing. I had to trust the process (and continuances galore), but he secured a great outcome with a significantly reduced charge. After seeing other defendants in court get ground up by the justice system, I know that I made the right choice with hiring Casey. Retaining his services was probably the best decision I made in all of March. Best of all, Casey is a great person. I can't say that about all of the attorneys I have worked with (in a professional capacity, this is my first time as a defendant). He's compassionate, communicative, and takes the time to explain. Just a stand up dude.

I first consulted with Casey and he explained how he could handle my defense case. I hired him and everything went according to the outline he gave me and my case was reduced substantially. I am sure there was much more work that went into my case then he led me to believe, and in the end I was very satisfied. Casey is extremely professional and I would hire/recommend him again.

Mr. Arbenz took the necessary time to fully explain the charges, potential outcomes and consequences. We developed a strategy, carefully evaluating possible results and he articulately challenged the nuances of my case. We were able to reach a favorable outcome and I was fortunate to be referred to Mr. Arbenz by one of his peers!

I was accused of assault by one of my adult daughters. As soon as I found out, I prayed that God would direct me to the attorney of his choosing for my case. After contacting several and meeting with Casey, I felt strongly he was the right person. I, and my case, were unlike any that Casey had worked with before. It involved family complexities resulting from a difficult divorce, and my desire to leave the door of reconciliation open to my adult children and their mother. I was willing to have all testimony and evidence brought out into the light, and accept the decision of a jury, regardless the outcome. Casey did a great job of adjusting. He explained well what was at risk (up to 365 days in jail), and what it would mean if I were to accept any continuance (the risk that the case would be tried based solely on the facts provided by the alleged victim). Though he encouraged me to consider the offers presented, I believed it more important to my family for me to risk being tried and found guilty, than to have them suspect that I was guilty and worked a deal. Being firmly convinced that the action for which I was accused was in truth a measured response to behavior which risked the safety of others, we proceeded toward trial. After the first trial ended in a hung jury (4 of 6 to acquit), Casey again made adjustments as we prepared for a stronger approach to the next trial. During the pretrial hearing the prosecutor offered one more deal, which was more of a "wrist-slap". Still feeling it was in my families best interest to continue to trial, I refused. Within a couple weeks, Casey received a call from the State prosecutor that they decided to drop the charges. Casey was the right attorney for my trial, was understanding and effective.

I was being charged with Conspiracy to Commit Securities Fraud. It was a very stressful situation and felt like it would never end. Casey was straight to the point and never gave me any false hope. I was really happy with the end results. I would definitely recommend Mr.Arbenz

Casey took my case even though he wasn't sure about it. It was kind of a weird case. He was really supportive and made me feel like he was on my side even though the facts were not always completely clear. He is patient, friendly and knowledgable. And he managed to get me everything I wanted out of the situation.

I contacted Casey last year after I was issued an out of state traffic violation that I knew I was not guilty of. After gathering the facts, Casey was able to draft a letter to the local department of public safety which ultimately resulted in the case being dropped. My driving record is free and clear of any any violations and I am extremely thankful to Casey for that. Whenever you are forced to hire a lawyer, it is never a "fun" experience. Either you are in trouble or you have been wronged, either way it is stressful, intimidating and, often times, very scary. Casey, however, helped to turn a negative experience into one in which I felt confident, knowledgeable, in control and, most importantly, he gave me peace of mind. When I walked in to Casey's office, I expected to feel judged and criminalized but he instantly demonstrated his humanistic nature. He understands that being charged with a crime does not mean a person is bad by nature. This allowed me to feel more comfortable speaking honestly with him and even gave me personal comfort when dealing with my transgressions. His easy demeanor and compassion lent a positive atmosphere to every communication we had and made the entire episode more tolerable. Additionally, his confidence and communicativeness about the progress of the case helped to put my mind at ease. Of course, all the good intentions in the world don't mean a thing if a lawyer isn't proficient. Casey, I am glad to say, is able to back up his confidence with real results. The outcome of my case was much more favorable than what is generally expected and I have no doubt it was his hard work and attentiveness that made it possible. I am very happy with the results and with the experience overall. Casey is highly recommended in my opinion.
