Erik is a talented attorney; incisive, on point, and aggressive in the best way. He is the man you want in your corner. I would recommend him for any family law case for which you a need strong, ethical, and focused lawyer.

I will not recommend Eric. Eric took my case almost as if he knew that he had a good record with reviews. My reason of why I do not recommend him are the following. Money: every lawyer seems to just want the money to take your case instead of giving you a good assessment of the case. Knowledge: Eric took my money on my case, not knowing the current changes on military retirement and spousal entitlements. Plainly and simply complained to me about fighting for me. His sentiment almost seem as if he was fighting for the ex spouse. He made me do work on the timeline in which I was in the army with changes to my pay, which I did because he seemed incompetent. After I did that work, he still failed at resourcing the information necessary to fight my case. Ultimately, the apparent judgement was lame, Eric did not fight and will always come back to you stating that "it is fair to do". Not " I will fight for you". I would take my chances with anyone else who has better resources in the subject. Eric needs to brush up on the current changes to the subject of Military divorce and retirement entitlements to the spouse. He needs to brush up on the timelines and pay and how it effects the outcomes. He needs to brush up on the verbiage accepted by the DFAS. My opinion, is that fellow soldiers spend alot of time deployed and away from home to fight for the country, at the end you pay out on a spouse that under washington state courts, they have a right to have a relationship if your married and deployed. Hire a lawyer that opposes that view.

I absolutely must, have to recommend Attorney Erik to you or to any one who is dealing with the divorce. I know and understand how painful, stressful, and ugly the divorce process can be, especially when assets and children involved. I was there. Erik has a great work ethic. He cares a great deal about his clients. He has a very calm and caring demeanor and he gets directly to the point. He definitely is the person who not only will walk you through every step, but will also help to take away your stress and lead you to a better and brighter quality life after your dissolution.

I was nervous and unsure of what to expect when getting started in the process of child support and a parenting plan. The first lawyer I hired made many mistakes on my parenting plan and didn’t care to listen or answer any of my questions. I sought else where and meet Hannah. Hannah was wonderful. She answered all of my questions and explained every step of the process to me. She addressed all of my concerns and helped fix my botched parenting plan. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone going through any type of family and child custody cases.

I hired Hannah to represent me in a modification of child support hearing. She was able to divert us to mediation, and help negotiate a much more favorable settlement than was originally proposed. I didn’t win every point, that’s not how mediation works. But it saved me a great deal of money in the long run. (She essentially paid for herself by the second month of the agreement). Hannah was able to talk me “off the ledge” a couple of times and was very reassuring about the more outlandish demands being made. This is the only one I’ve ever needed an attorney. If I ever go back to family court my first call will be to Hannah. Last thought: Hannah seemed young to me but never gave me reason to doubt her experience. She also has considerable resources within her firm to draw on, and made it clear she would do so if needed. I don’t think it ever came to that.

From the beginning, everyone from the receptionist, paralegal all the way to Hannah were extremely helpful. They listened attentively to my situation and understood I needed not only a timely response but very skilled execution of such response. I was offered to work with Hannah and she immediately helped me respond to my husband's petition for divorce and court hearing. I had found the Law Offices of Sophia M Palmer through Avvo and contacted Sophia via email when I was served with divorce papers unexpectedly and discovered my ex had hired an attorney. Not wanting to go through the process uneven, I began researching lawyers. Sophia contacted me back and asked if I would be willing to meet with Hannah as a possible option in regards to my case. Being as I was just in the beginning stages of researching lawyers, I agreed and scheduled an appointment within a few days to meet with Hannah and discuss my case. Hannah was very open to discussion in regards to several different options in regards of how to handle the foreseeable future and offered advice on what she felt was fair and just on BOTH sides. I ended up hiring her same day. We were able to settle fairly quickly once we both retained attorneys and got the advice we sought.
