David was very professional and addressed all my fears, answered all my questions fully and left nothing for me to guess about. Was very quick in dealing with my case. I was up against multiple specification of a bogus charge that had the potential to follow me the rest of my life. I called UCMJDefender and Joselyn immediately brought Sean Mangan in on the consultation call to begin working through my case. Throughout the process Sean was checking in to ensure that I was doing alright and to update me on my case. His firm brought in excellent consultants and experts to testify on my behalf. Throughout the trial he and my team overwealmingly showed that the government's' case was weak and I was found Not Guilty; additionally he inserted case law that would trigger an appellate review and trial, he plays chess where the government prosecutors are playing checkers.

I hired Ms. Stewart as my attorney after being falsely accused of sexual harassment while on deployment. I had reached out to her early in the process while waiting for NCIS and my command to complete their investigation. Over six months into the process, without hearing any news about the status of the investigation, I was told that I would have to be present for an XOI with under 48 hours notice. I thankfully had already retained Ms. Stewart months before this notification, and she quickly worked to contact witnesses for me to testify at the XOI and helped me prepare a statement and answer any questions during the XOI. She also advised me about the likely XOI outcomes and was able to give me sound guidance about how to next proceed. When I received the unfortunate recommendation of NJP, Ms. Stewart helped guide me to my next steps, believing that the facts were in my favor and that requesting Courts Martial would be the best way to resolve this issue. My command declined this option and instead sent my case for a Board of Inquiry. She continued to provide timely advice on the implications of this and how we may be able to prepare. Due to conflicts with her schedule, one of her partners ended up representing me at the BOI, who she did extensive prep work with so that he was well prepared to defend my case. At the BOI we were able to finally present the facts of the case and not only was I retained for service but the Board felt that the accusations made against me were not credible. I am very thankful for Ms. Stewart's professionalism and expertise. While I was always confident the facts of the case were on my side, it was very intimidating defending myself against the government. I no very little about law and the UCMJ procedures and having someone with Ms. Stewart's background to guide and explain the Navy's legal processes was priceless. While her services come at a cost, I always felt confident that I was investing in my own future and protecting against outcomes that would have had a substantial negative financial impact against myself and my family. Had I waited to be assigned counsel by the military, I would not have had someone strongly advocating for me during the investigative process and would not have had the ability to plan and prepare for the XOI. Dropped me like a wounded animal after collecting full payment and giving 25% back

Mr Kolke took my money then didn’t call or file the correct documents. He was late 4 hours to Trial. My divorce was final & he was notified on September 16, 2020 . I found out I was divorce by checking online September 21, 2020. He has refuses to tell me legally what is in the final order .My x husband has been harassing the day after the trial 07.13.2020 & I ask for him to file a no contact order . The courts will not allow me to do it because he is the lawyer on file . My x husband call the mortgage company & change the terms of the loan which they can report the loan is in rears because he took convert 19 variance loan on it , on September 22, 2020 & the decree was final September 16, 2020 & i the was awarded the home , but he has not followed through by filing a quick claim deed . I have called his office , which by the way is not his office . He only meets people there to put a fake Appearance. He also Represented other family members and did not tell me till the day before of trial , which my x husband use them against me . My x is refusing to pay the credit card debts that was occurred in our 28 years of marriage , and somehow got the Judge to award my x husband 120.000 lien on the home after stealing all of the 401 k and leaving my son& I to go on food stamps .Mr . Kolke failed to subpoena my x husband’s W-2s or bank statements for the last three years but did request & took mine and I had no income other than my Social Security of $200 a month & x husband told the judge he didn’t have a computer & have 2 paystub that were lowest ones & said he wasn’t working due to the covert 19 . The trial took three days and the third day my ex-husband told the judge that he was missing the third day of work and this is after he told the judge that he wasn’t working and got away with that. Mr Kolke didn’t object . To this date , Mr. Kolke still refuses to complete the documents from the divorce & I still do not know all the legal ramifications in final decree . I’m told that the judge made award on the home to me that was not legal and I cannot get answers and did send a declaration to the court asking about them but I have not gotten a response yet because Mr Kolke is the lawyer on file ..I can’t even file a no contact order because Mr. Kolke is the lawyer on file. My home will go in default starting next week because I still have no answer . Mr Kolke wasn’t against any smart Lawyer , he went up against my x husband who represent Himself & Judge Chushoff who was bias from the start & did the paper work for my x husband & yet again Mr Kolke didn’t object or file any motions on my behalf or my son. Oh he even got my son child support reduce that dshs had verified his pay . maybe the court should’ve had use dshs doc instead of just taking my x word saying “ I couldn’t get my taxes because I didn’t have a computer. It was my understanding that the court could pull that at anytime. Say a prayer for us because we are going to be on the streets , after & what mr Kolke is still doing .

Desmond Kolke has a heart for justice and taking care of his clients. I first started working with him almost a year ago in what seemed like a simple case. It has not been. And yet, Mr. Kolke has worked tirelessly on this case and the continuing issue. He gives sound legal advice. I've seen him in court and he handles himself professionally without allowing the other side to throw him off.
