Kelly was the third attorney my husband and I worked with on an incredibly challenging case that previous counsel believed would inevitably go to trial. Our case involved serious psychiatric and substance use issues that required careful handling in the family law process to ensure our parenting planhad the strongest possible safeguards. Through this journey, we became acutely aware of significant flaws in the family court system—particularly its prioritization of a parent’s rights, even when that parent has been absent and grappling with these issues for a child’s entire life. Before this past year of litigation, my son’s biological father had spent just 0.03% of his life with him, with long gaps between contact. Every attorney we consulted advised us that this history would not impact the outcome—the system is structured to protect parental rights. We knew we had to fight for our son’s right to safety. We fought relentlessly to keep our son’s safety at the center of every decision, despite pressures from a wealthy, enabling family pushing for a plan that could allow continued manipulation of the system. When our previous attorney identified a conflict of interest related to a psychiatrist likely to be called to testify, she recommended Kelly LeBlanc to see us through to trial if needed. From our first meeting, Kelly was confident we could avoid trial, and she was right. We’ve now reached an agreement that includes vital safeguards for our son, and my husband and I finally have peace of mind, knowing we did everything possible within the constraints of a flawed system. I changed counsel rather deep into a dissolution process that was being disrespected by the other party and thus stalling. I hired Kelly LeBlanc and her assistant Lisa Parson from Envision Family Law, to help me through a divorce, and I’m delighted I did. She was always on top of everything and kept me informed throughout the process. She handled herself very professionally and was great to work with. Kelly LeBlanc is awesome. She has superior skill and experience inside and outside the courtroom; her verbal and written communication skills are unparalleled. Attorney Leblanc is a senior attorney with many years of experience. She is especially well versed with military retirement plans and federal retirement plans. She was instrumental in getting my complicated reserve retirement divided fairly between myself and my spouse. She helped find guidance to get 20/20/20 spousal benefits for my spouse (which she earned by being by my side throughout most of my military career). Bottom line, we ended up with a fair divorce with both parties feeling satisfied with the results. Attorney Leblanc pays attention to the details - highly recommend!
