Leslie’s previous reviews hold up; a pitbull in a skirt is exactly what she is, but rarely does she have to use it. Her extensive knowledge of the Law and level headedness kept my parenting plan and life where it should be. Leslie, Evelyn, and the rest of her team took my child and mine's best interests to heart and worked tirelessly to dismiss an absurd petition for modification. With previous firms, we felt like we had to do the leg work and that key things were missed that could have helped our case. Leslie used previous trial references and referenced every applicable law. She calmly stated facts but the judge already had the exact idea. The other party enlisted hysterics and drama, throwing everything at the judge to see what would hold up. Leslie did not play into their baiting or games for a second. She is well respected throughout the courts and it shows. Leslie also treats you like a person, not another case file, and protects your finances and reputation instead of exploiting you like many other firms. Someone at her firm always answers your call and has an answer immediately or gets back to you in a timely manner with the appropriate answer. I would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone no matter how seemingly winnable or hopeless your case may be.

I used Leslie for an out of state custody case. The state of Washington has a law that places more emphasis on children being with their biological parent than what's in the best interest of the child. Leslie knew the case would be tough, given that my son's mother had just passed away and the DNA father had to be proven unfit. Leslie and her team diligently worked the case and we won in June 2019. Due to winning the case, my wife and I were able to adopt my son, which was finalized January 27, 2020. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Ive had several lawyers throughout the ordeal my ex has and continues to put me through. I can confidently and safely claim that She has been THE BEST, bar-none. I hope to continue to keep her on retainer until I am DONE with my ex issues. She is worth every penny! In 2014, I contacted Leslie and her fantastic staff about what should have been a routine divorce case. Obviously, every case is a little different, but I'm happy to say that I'll be retiring in 4 years with all my benefits. I've had the blessing of Leslie Bottimore representing my family law, post-secondary education support case that involved an ex-husband/estranged father from hell...and that is putting it mildly!! This case was drug through the courts for years, off and on, due to my ex and his crazy making abuse of power via the family court system. He made it his life's work to harass our college age child, myself and even my new husband and our extended family members. Leslie is not only compassionate and kind, but has always come to court well prepared, confident and knows how to shut down a crazy man, time and time again. She may be soft spoken, but she is definitely a powerhouse with her words and skills within the legal system. She is very familiar with the judges, how they operate and how best to approach a case. She was able to accomplish everything our child needed to complete their college degree and keep support until they are able to get on their feet. We feel so grateful for all she has done through the years to help keep the support going for the benefit of our child. Trust her judgment and you can't go wrong! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is forced to deal with an ex or soon to be ex-spouse who is trying to make your life a living hell. She will put a stop to it and make sure you are represented in a professional and justice oriented manor. I might also add that Leslie has an amazing staff that has been with her for years, her right hand gal, Kathy, and also, Evelyn. I have mainly worked with Kathy through the years and she has been such a kind and professional person to work with. She has always been empathetic to the tyrant my ex-husband enjoyed being to our family and was there for us, both emotionally and professionally, with her sound legal guidance and advice on my "to do" items for their office. Just know if you are in need of a real Pitbull in the courtroom, along with kind hearted support, Leslie and Team are your people!! I can't thank them all enough!

I found Leslie through an online search in the midst of a very stressful event that occurred last summer related to my daughter and her father. Leslie took the time to listen to my story and showed as much zeal and passion for righting the situation as I did. She was assertive, yet calm in all of the court proceedings, and the Judges seemed to highly respect her. Family law issues, particularly when there are also potential mental health issues on the other side, definitely call for an attorney who is willing to understand the whole picture and convey your message clearly. Extremely pleases with the outcome of my divorce case as I live out of state and was able to trust that my case was in great hands.
