I hired Ms. Jocelyn Stewart to represent me during my General Court Martial. I had been charged with one specification of false official statement and three specifications of unprofessional relationship. I was scared and felt completely alone. After just one phone call with Ms. Stewart, I felt renewed with hope. I knew without a doubt, I wanted her on my side. She was always honest with me and I leaned on her and her significant legal experience. In court, she was aggressive in her defense, yet extremely professional. This is a follow-up to a review I posted earlier about Lindsay and her paralegal Mallory. Since that time, my case has settled. Lindsay was incredible throughout the entire process. Her knowledge of family law is encyclopedic but what makes here stand out in my opinion is her compassion and unwavering commitment to keep her client on track, within the law and on the "high ground". She took every opportunity to help me reduce my costs instead of just doing whatever I wanted and running up fees, and carefully reviewed every document, motion, response and discovery issue I had. She kept me honest and never shirked telling me when I had gone off the reservation. In the end, we avoided a trial and negotiated a settlement that both parties could live with. During the negotiation process she was very clear about the risks inherent with a family law trial and the possibility that I could actually come out with less that what was negotiated. That advice and caution proved spot-on when our agreement was signed and the judge spoke his piece about it. I spoke of her compassion and that more than anything impressed me. This was a blindside divorce and I went through the 5 stages of grief dealing with it. She never judged me, understood that the Big Bad Sailorman had a heart that could be broken and that he could cry. I am amazed at how she, or any other family law attorney for that matter, can deal with the raw anger and hurt that happens when two people that used to love each other tear each other apart. I recommend her without reservation to anyone needing competent, knowledgeable, and responsiveness representation in and family matter.

Jocelyn was quick to return my phone call. I knew I was in a bad situation and I needed a top notch attorney to make sure that I wasn't taken advantage of by a military system than can be less than objective. I contacted her early, and I believe that was the reason my case had such a favorable outcome. Get her on your side early so that she can begin advocating for you. She made phone calls and obtained information I wouldn't have been able to by myself. She has connections, let her use those in your favor. As for the outcome, we were so ahead of the system that the military didn't even get the chance to charge me with any wrong doing. No Charges, No Action Taken!

My matter is ongoing, but I just have to let other potential clients know that Lindsay and Mallory are the bomb. They took me first as supervisory for my pro-se appearance and when things went south, jumped in both feet. I'm dealing with pre-nup issues and a spouse that wants to duck it. It has been a siege instead of a brawl and in that regard Lindsay is inexorable! Attention to detail, thinks outside the box and when dealing with opposing council is a master of Irish Diplomacy (telling them to go to hell in such a way they look forward to the trip). She and Mallory are also exceptionally compassionate. i was a bundle of raw emotion in a blindside divorce. They understood that can make a crusty old 34 year sea dog break down and cry. They spent as much time holding my hand, dealing with my somewhat piquant language and patting my shoulder as they have putting together a razor sharp case. It ain't over yet, but I have a truly level playing field and a better than fighting chance in getting some justice. In my world, they'd be called good shipmates, the highest compliment.

Lindsay and Mallory we're the perfect team for me ! As a father fighting an uphill battle all the way , they took the ball on short notice an got me everything i wanted ! I highly recommend them on every level !

I had a very urgent need for a well qualified attorney to represent me due to being out of country when my ex filed a totally unwarranted action against me without me ever even getting notice from the court (...I found out as I passed through a foreign immigration point). I had one day to find an attorney, get a declaration written and have an attorney in court to represent me. Lindsay Noel from McKinley Irvin was up to the challenge. She worked remotely with me, prepared my response, had my ex served with the response and notice McKinley Irvin would be representing me in court - all in one day. The next day when Lindsay appeared in court, my ex had decided not to take on Lindsay and McKinley Irvin and did not appear. The action was dismissed by the court on the spot.
