GET ANOTHER LAWYER -- Jean-Paul Gustad is the worst lawyer I've ever had. He should have chosen another career to pursue. I referred him to a friend of mine before I had my hearing, and they were harassed by him for not speaking loud enough. It got to the point where the judge told them to take recess. My friend is non-verbal, and there was no interpreter. For my hearing (April 2021), he had no recent health records, all he had were from 2017, which didn't include my hospitalizations from my worsened health conditions. He also berated and patronized me over the phone while we were discussing the upcoming hearing, and started a fight with the vocational expert during the hearing. His staff and associates are lovely to work with, I feel bad that they work under him though.
