I had a great experience working with Daryl and everyone at his office. Very easy to communicate with and they were always on top of my case whenever I called with questions. The office is conveniently located and professional. I could not be happier with the decision I made to hire Daryl, he is a very smart man and has a strong personality. I was repeatedly told by others outside his office, Daryl is one of the top 3 lawyers in Pierce county and I totally believe this after him helping me. If I ever needed a Lawyer again he will be my first call.

The attorney he assigned to me , he never called back when the said he would and allowed the prosecutor to change the terms of the condition of the plea bargain after i accepted it and allowed the prosecutor to add an addition 900$ fine after the I accepted the initial first offer that didn't have the fine. Extremely nice guy, but nice doesn't equate to competence in this case. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone and I wouldn't take a chance and I would go somewhere else and find someone through a reference, there were a lot of people in the courtroom complaining about their attorneys. I could never count on them returning a my call when they said they would, If I had to do over again, i would definitely use someone else. Just my two cents

Kent Underwood reached out to me (through another attorney who was involved in our case) after I, along with 5 other activists were arrested for non-violent direct action. We had chained ourselves to construction equipment at the Puget Sound Energy liquid fracked gas plant site in the port of Tacoma. We did the direct action as a last resort to stop the dangerous and polluting project from being built. We were arrested and charged with 2nd degree criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer. Kent volunteered to defend me pro bono, because he wanted to help people who were trying to protect the environment. I ultimately ended up accepting a stipulated order of continuance, because I just wasn't able to go through a jury trial at that point in my life. Kent helped me navigate the process and gave me really good advice throughout. He represented me at two pre trials. He's very professional, punctual and empathetic and I'm so grateful to have met him and had his assistance.
