I engaged Eric Gilman to represent me in a complex construction litigation case. The basis for the case was a faulty construction product that created damages to my property. There were four parties involved in the defense side: the manufacturer, the distributor, the installer and the inspector who approved the installation process at each step. None of the parties accepted responsibility and we were forced to go pretty far into litigation. The case was settled just weeks before trial after a successful mediation. I have been involved in several complex litigation cases over the past 30 years and very few attorneys took a personal interest in knowing the details of the case as well as I knew them. Eric understood the case far better than the defendants’ counsel which led to several good outcomes during the litigation. I have since stayed in touch with Eric and recommended him to several business owners and I will use him again if faced with similar litigation events.
