Feel so good to be able to put the past behind me. Had a felony on my record from more than 20 years ago when I was a juvenile. Figured better late than never, so I looked around for a law firm that could seal my records and restore my Second Amendment rights. I found Kertchen Law amongst a handful of local attorneys but these guys had the best reviews. As the pandemic had everything on lockdown, I contacted them through email and they responded immediately. Kertchen Law quoted me a price so much less than everybody else and half as much as I thought I’d have to pay. Kertchen Law also quoted me that the process would take 60 days, which was not too bad. However 35 days later, in the mail, I received my finalized hardcopies of the court documents stating that everything was done. I am very impressed with Kertchen Law. Thank you for a fantastic job! You guys are the best!

I reached out to Mr. Kertchen through his website about exploring having my firearm rights restored. When Mr. Kertchen responded he said that he could have my firearm rights restored and also have the felony conviction that removed my firearm rights vacated. Having lived with a felony on my record for 22 years and having been told by a number of attorneys that getting the felony vacated was impossible, I was skeptical of my chances. However, Mr. Kertchen educated me about how I was now eligible for relief as a function of the New Hope Act in Washington state (very helpful information about this process is available on his website) and the facts of my specific scenario. Still skeptical, I had more questions but was ultimately reassured that I was indeed eligible. Mr. Kertchen’s deep knowledge and expertise in this domain of law is very evident. So, taking the plunge, I engaged Mr. Kertchen. The engagement agreement and payment process are very easy and secure. Fees were very fair and expectation on timing was established. The quality and clarity of the information Mr. Kertchen provided was a key factor that led me to engage him over other counsel. Communication was always prompt and continued daily until the initial motions were prepared and sent to me for signatures. I signed and returned the motion documents to Mr. Kertchen’s office. I expected to wait at least another month to hear the outcome and so was happily surprised to hear back in half the expected timeframe with successful outcomes. Mr. Kertchen successfully had my felony conviction vacated and my firearm rights restored and provided very clear post-order exit FAQs to follow.
