We hired Ryan Rothermel for what ended up being an almost 2 year custody battle. We had a great experience in him, and his candid, no-nonsense approach, advice, and communication. Ultimately we came out with what we had hoped for, against the odds. We would definitely use him again, and recommend him.

Even though this person was not my lawyer I have factual proof that he acted unethically regarding the case. This man is not in this businiess because he cares about his clients. He is in it for himself and to make money. He always dragged out my case so long that the judge had to tell him the case needed to proceed forward. I agree with the above comment completely. The way this man would speak to me was in such a way he was putting me down, berating me and would never respond on time so of course my visit would be missed. I have finally found after researching how to go about seeking assistance in how to have a lawyer fired or at least fined.

Greedy money sucker , over charging , miss present me at court and AT the state prosecutor office, has hidden proofs and document that should be presented at time to extand the case so he can get more work and money out of me, after 13k charge he dropped the case because back pay Worst attorney ever , will definitely take him to court for not providing the document on time and for not providing hard copy every time I give him something then at the end he throw the evidence and claimed I did not provided to him, it looks like he was working against me , or if there's any personal issues between us that I don't know of, I'm thinking he took my emails to his wife wich is his accountant as offending to her and start rouining my life Big no to such greedy lawyer

Mr. Petersen and his staff were very courteous and understanding during my recent family law matter. They communicated with me every step of the way, making sure I was aware of what was happening. I rate Mr. Petersen a 10/outstanding for ethics. I feel he not only conforms to the letter and spirit of the law, but charges appropriately. I asked how I was to be billed, he told me, and his billing was consistent with what I was told. Should I need an attorney in family law again, I will definitely contact his office. I highly encourage anyone seeking assistance in a family law matter to contact Mr. Petersen's office at least for an initial consult.
