When you want a law firm to represent this is the law firm you want. I have used them two times the first time was Jeff Jacobs he did a awesome job for me but he retired a few years back. The second time was with Scott Staples he also did a fantastic job for myself and my wife we were satisfied with the settlement I think we all wish we could have more, but realistically that very seldom happens. Trust them they will not take you for a ride they will get every penny from the responsible party that ruined your life.

Bill Thayer is one of the lawyers here and I have known Bill for many years. I've been friends with his brother, Steve Thayer, also an excellent lawyer, for over 25 years and that's how I met Bill Thayer. He is a very kind man, very intelligent and honest. Every time I call him he will answer my call. Every single time. And I haven't talked to him in years but I recently called him and asked him if he would give me advice on something and to recommend a lawyer. He talked with me and give me his opinion and recommended a couple law firms. He recently sat down with my boyfriend and I to discuss the possibility of something to do with an car accident and he talked to us for a half hour to 45 minutes. He even gave my boyfriend advice on what to do if he does not go to a lawyer. Not a dime charged. He does that for me every time. He's an honest and caring person as well as an excellent lawyer.

He didn't start working my case and he said my case had no point in going further then I called him to keep him in the loop of what was going on and I told him that the other person's insurance wasn't paying my lost wages anymore after a month my bills were mounting and he did nothing to help

Looking at a dismal state-assisted future, we asked for attorney referrals to see if there was anything that could provide for a “soft landing” and unanimously the name that came back was Bill Thayer. We discussed the accident with Brad Thayer. He listened carefully and though the prospects were not great given the driver was uninsured and had no real assets, Bill joined the meeting for a second ear. We were there at least an hour and we left feeling heard in an honest way. Bill met our mom at the skilled nursing facility. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is calm, caring and asks many questions with a real empathy (something that extends to his entire team). He was up front with mom that an outcome was not likely to provide meaningful compensation to her injury, but she felt heard in a way that gave her some strength for the next stage of her recovery. That alone was a huge gift. We were surprised when Bill called 8 months later having contacted another law firm with specialized experience of the specifics of mom’s case. Bill, Brad, and co-counsel met several more times with mom. It took us awhile to complete paperwork – we had to dig in and revisit a whole life which really helped reveal what we were fighting for and its true worth. Bill understood the emotional work it takes to complete these things and was encouraging and patient throughout. Bill’s consideration of other possible angles is the kind of tenacity that turned a hopeless situation around and has provided for a much brighter future for mom (and some restoration of normalcy and hope for her family). Ben Melnick and his team were professional & respectful. I am glad I got to work with him on my case because I was able to get a much more reasonable settlement than what the car insurance offered me in the beginning.
