I had great service from the very first phone call made to NW Legacy Law to obtain information regarding my dads legal will and how to proceed since he passed away. They were so helpful and informative. Living 800 miles away, I was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me to travel to meet with the team. During the estate process, the team was available to answer any questions I had, kept me informed, and patient with me. During the difficult time of my dads passing, I appreciated all their support and help through the entire process of completing the estate process.

My partner and I are unmarried new parents. Though neither he nor I are exceptionally good at the planning/saving/preparing-for-the-future tasks of adulthood, we knew how important this would be for our child’s future. In order to change this, however, we needed a great deal of guidance (and clear explanations to our questions) through the process. Kayleigh was the sage guide we needed, and helped us feel confident as we laid the groundwork to secure our child’s future. Isabella was a pleasure to work with. Especially as an unmarried couple, having a plan for our estate is crucial in making sure that choices are made exactly how we would want them to be, even if we are not there to make them. My partner and I were able to outline a plan that secures for us many of the benefits of a married couple. In particular, we were able to establish a trust for our child/future children. Futhermore, as someone who studies the emotional development of adolescents, I especially appreciate being able to delineate when, how, and at what age my child(ren) would be able to access those financial resources. I have recommended NW Legacy Law to my friends (especially those who are also new parents), and am so grateful to them for all they’ve done for our family.

Jake Seegmuller and his team helped my family with a very complicated probate situation. We were out of state and needed help understanding Washington state law in this case. From the time we first contacted NW Legacy Law everyone was kind and professional. Jake was always responsive and took time to walk us through the legal aspects of our case, gave us options and counseled us on what he thought the other side would do. Jake was right more often than not. After almost 2 years, and an emotional rollercoaster ride, we are finally closing our case with the results we had hoped to get. At this point we feel like Jake and his team are like family and they treated us as such. If we are ever in Washington state we definitely plan to visit NW Legacy Law so we can thank everyone in person.

I wanted to say what a pleasure it was to have our legal concerns regarding my parent's last Will and Testament reviewed and explained by Kayleigh Lindemuth on our recent visit. My parents created their Will about 15years ago and details get muddy of what legally the documents entail . Our experience with NW Legacy Law is one we would do all over again. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They have the knowledge and took the time to answer all our questions through the process. As a team they help with any questions after the process is being finalized. Appointments are limited and the process needs to be scheduled in advance, but that was the only difficulty we faced. When my father passed away from COVID in Nov 2020, I was lost and didn't know how to handle his estate. Jake Seegmuller and Erick Fortman helped me through it all, gave me step by step instructions, and even helped me vet an attorney in Illinois since my father had property there also. They also had to track down the witnesses to my dad's will due to a weird issue. They were in my corner with expert knowledge the entire way. It was nice having a fixed price for their services so I didn't have to stress about every phone call or email I needed to send them. Now that my dad's probate is settled, my husband and I will be reaching out to have our own wills drafted. The death of my dad helped me know the importance of having everything in writing and I can trust NW Legacy Law to handle things correctly.
