Contacted Rani by email and phone. Gave detailed information about my case. She indicated she was writing down the details, would put it in my file. I then set up consultation. Just before the appt, my father died. I told the office manager I would reschedule. I emailed Rani and told her I was ready to start the lawsuit. She obviously didn't remember me, or the info I had already given her. Made a big deal about how much she makes per hour and she was losing this by taking down my info. She then wanted a $10,000 retainer said and it would be $35,000 before anything would get done. She recommended I just sell the property. Regarding the lawsuit I had done nothing wrong, and the case was about neighbors violating easements and not following standard construction procedures. It was really straight forward, they were in violation of the law. Period. I had documentation, photos, videos, notes, and texts, easements, and proof. I had money too.

Rani is incredibly sensitive to her client's needs and communicates in a way that is very effective, efficient, and considerate. To someone who has never dealt with attorneys, Rani made the process of the lawsuit as pain free as possible- explaining every detail without hesitation or frustration. She is very good at negotiating and making sure that the wants and needs of her clients are addressed carefully and made well known by the opposing party. We were very lucky to have her work alongside us, as we went through a challenging time. I am impressed by her hard work, resilience, and dependability. She worked tirelessly to ensure that our family was taken care of and continued to advocate for us when we didn't know what to do anymore. Rani is a gem of an attorney and I am very lucky to know someone as dedicated to her work as she is. It is clear that she is very client centered and works to ensure that the relationship is based on trust and honesty.

We hired Rani after another lawyer mishandled our case. We felt we were in good hands from our inital conversation with Rani due to her confediant personality which put us at easy. She handled every question in a very professional and knowledgable manner. If there were outstanding issues she was prompt to get answers back to us quickly and what I really loved is she would clearly explain both sides of our issue so that we could make an imformed decision on how to proceed that we were comfortable with. I would highly recommend Rani.

Rani always got back to me promptly. Her research and foresight anticipated both bogus and legitimate arguments from the other side that I never would have thought to consider. She made one significant scheduling error, but promptly corrected it so it didn't impact my case or otherwise inconvenience me. Rani was both professional and personable.

Ms. Sampson of the Sampson Law Office provided outstanding assistance to our Homeowner Association. We had stumbled along with another attorney when we called Ms. Sampson for assistance. Most favorable experience!!! She was very quick to identify the key issues and to recommend an amicable solution for all parties involved. Her conduct was fair, honest and most professional. Her experience in real estate law and her negotiation skills led to a quick, fair and solid agreement. We will continue to use her and would recommend her to other homeowner associations.

As happens sometimes I got myself into a situation in which I needed legal assistance. At first I was confused and scared as I had no idea where all of this would lead. I was very lucky that I found Brandon and that he was willing to take my case. Upon first meeting with Brandon I was immediately put at ease by his knowledge and overall attitude that he was more like a friend who will help you then a stuffy lawyer that is more annoyed to be bothered by your situation. I immediately hired Brandon after meeting him in person and I can say it was possibly the smartest decision I have ever made. Brandon was always willing to explain anything to me that I didn’t understand and was more than happy to answer any question I had. Not one time did Brandon ever make me feel like anything other than a friend that he literally cared about. When the time came for resolving my issue Brandon went to work with the prosecution like a finely skilled surgeon and when the smoke cleared, He was able to get me a deal that was far greater than any outcome I would have dreamed of. This man cares and works his butt off to get you the absolute best outcome possible. I am forever grateful to this man for his professionalism and gentle approach with me as a confused and scared person who hadn’t to this point had any interactions with the legal process. I hope Brandon reads this and realizes that the place he occupies in this world as a defender of people is so greatly appreciated and admired by me personally. And if you are reading this and are scared, confused and feeling alone, look no further because Brandon is absolutely the lawyer you need to get you to the other side of your situation and to get your life back on track.

Brandon represented me in a case that I was falsely being accuse of. He spent countless hours gathering information and preparing for the court. He communicated with me and kept me up to date. Brandon treated me like family. He cared and knew the allegation were BS, after police report came out, it was obvious. Brandon was never money hungry, he wanted me to get the best outcome. I heard from multiple people that work in that field, that Brandon is not only the best but a respected lawyer. Thank you!

Brandon Redal was the most efficient and determined attorney i have ever seen. He gathered all information physically possible to keep my innocence through the entire court case. Redal pushed for things to get done and made sure they were done correctly. Not to mention he doesn’t treat me like just a client, He treats me like family. 11/10 Would recommend.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Wenatchee, Washington?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
