Hired them for VA disability case over a year ago. I already had a 30% disability rating when I hired them in June of 2023. They filed an appeal for me and said they were getting my medical records from the VA to put a case together. Never heard from them for several months. I contacted them and was told that they don’t contact VA clients for 120 days at a time. Their communication is terrible. I’ve been submitting documents on my own. I called them July 3rd and wasn’t able to talk to anyone, so I left a message. They contacted me July 5th ( I didn’t expect them to contact me on the 4th obviously). The man that contacted me was very rude and just tried to talk over me. My question was what is going on and what have they done? He couldn’t give me any information other than they have requested for my medical records and they’re putting a case together. In one year they haven’t done anything. He also told me they have been doing a lot of things behind the scenes that I wouldn’t know about. I asked what the “behind the scenes” things they were doing. He never answered me and said do you want us to still represent you. I told him no and he said they would close my case. I believe what they do is set on VA disability cases for several years and then after a period of time has passed, they submit more information to keep the case going. It makes sense for them to do that because they stand to earn more money from back pay. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of veterans like this. Most veterans are probably like me and need the treatments and compensation money ASAP. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
