Debra represented me in what turned out to be an ugly and drawn out divorce after nearly 20 years of marriage. Everything about my case was challenging from Day 1 and Debra, Larry, and Candice tackled every aspect and detail with knowledge, tact, and skill! They ensured I was protected and well-represented throughout the process, which ended up taking 2 years! Debra is knowledgeable, sharp, and skilled in tackling difficult issues. She’s straightforward and doesn’t sugarcoat things and I appreciated her directness. She clearly told me what she needed from me, gave me a realistic view of what to expect, and kept me involved in every step of the process. Divorce is stressful, ugly, expensive, and life changing. If you want someone who will fight WITH you (you have to do your part and listen to what she and her staff say), Debra and her crew will not let you down! I also want to mention Genevieve, Debra’s legal secretary, who always had a smile and a kind word whenever I was in the office or on the phone. I’m forever grateful for everyone in Debra’s office who was part of the whole process for me. I’m forever grateful!

I have used Debra for two cases; an appeal and a divorce. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. She will fight for you in a strong professional manner. You can tell she has had many years of experience, and she understands the laws and how things work within the court system. She is who you want as your representative when you are in the courtroom nervous and anxious over the situation that you are in. I can’t recommend her enough.

My brother just had Debra Chafin a couple of months ago in his divorce (where the ONLY thing he cared about was getting at least 50/50 custody of his children which he MORE than deserved). Paid her a lot of money & she won him NOTHING. Always told him to just do what his ex was requesting him to do. NEVER came to a hearing…she always sent her paralegal who isn’t as “mean” as she is. So we DO NOT recommend her!!!

Debra and her team were very straightforward about the process and always seemed to be one step ahead in planning. Debra was absolutely incredible. She was professional, and truly showed how much she cared about my husband. Making it possible for my husband to have his children. We highly recommend Debra, and if we ever have to use her again we certainly will.

Doesn't even deserve one star. Ms. Chafin was unprepared, rude and unprofessional.

They are just plain awful, incompetent, and should be disbarred IMO. Find anyone else. They did an awful job handling my case, I never felt heard or properly represented by them.
