This attorney was appointed to represent my daughter. He never contacted her. He would not return my calls if I was able to leave a message. Several times his mailbox was full. I finally friended him on FB and he accepted the request. He was running for an elected office at the time. I have picked up a packet to file a formal complaint with the WV judicial board. Advised my daughter and spoke (the one time he answered the phone)and sent him a msg via msgr requesting new counsel be appointed. That was in March, motion filed in May. Today she was appointed new counsel. Would not recommend. I wrote this on behalf og my daughter.

Charged for something that wasn't mine thanks to Nicola. Thanks for a record at 23 years old with two babies for something that wasn't even mine and was already admitted. I have the rest of my life ahead of me. I would rate Nicola Negative stars if there were an option to do so. Don't you want to save people from charges they didn't commit? I thought that was the point. Thanks for putting a charge on my record that wasn't even initially mine even after the other party admitted so. Worst. Public. Defender. Ever. If she did her job correctly, I wouldn't have been charged for something that wasn't anything to do with me. She doesn't care. It's written all over her face, and voice. If they want to, they will. Hopefully she learns the point of her job before she ruins everyone's record and allows you to be charged for things you honest to God had nothing to do with. Let it be her though...she wouldn't have let herself or her daughter be charged for something she had nothing to do with.

I have had nothing but great, positive experiences with Christian Riddell. He made me a promise that he would fight for my son, and he's delivered every single time. This last case went from state to Federal & as we all know you don't beat their charges. Christian put a ton of time & work into our case, worked hard & it paid off in the courtroom. Justice did prevail & finally we now have a lawyer who is fair, works hard for his clients & gives his all. Our family will forever be grateful for what he's done for us. It's up to the client to follow up & set up meetings to get up to speed on your case. The negative comments are so hard to believe because we received the absolute opposite representation. Five Stars from us!

Had an easy case which Mr. Riddell FAILED to appear in court to have the case dismissed. We had all our witnesses present and ready to testify, since Mr. Riddell failed to appear in court, it somehow became our fault and now has costed thousands on top of the thousands we already gave him to start the case. One of the worst lawyers I’ve ever dealt with. Still pestering us for more money and hasn’t even shown his face a day in court. This man is a crook and should not be trusted by anyone.

Jason Steadman was appointed as my attorney for a CPS case. I whole heartedly believe he was literally just there because I can't go to court without counsel. He did not defend me none what so ever and there was plenty to defend me on. He never objected, he never ask for proof of any of the allegations I was being accused of, he never questioned nor called any witnesses. He's been my attorney since May of 2021 and I think I might have gotten ahold of him like 5 times. He never answers me, never calls me back, never answers my emails. I seriously believe he played a huge part in me losing my baby boy because if he would have actually put just a little bit of effort into my case and actually faught for me, there's no way I would have lost.

He’s supposed to be taken care of my grandson who is in jail and nobody can ever get a hold of this man. He should not have taken this case if he wasn’t able to be a help.
