The partners at this law firm are very knowledgeable in many forms of Law. Yes they are good attorneys, but more importantly they are good community members. They take the time to get to know you and you personal situation, they make sure they understand details of the case before making a commitment to represent you or your business. That does mean sometimes they turn down cases and chose not to represent. I believe that is a mark of high standards and not just in it to run up your legal fees. If that sounds like the type of firm you want to work with, then I highly recommend them, if not keeping moving.

I retained Jay Englund in June, 2021 to represent a family member who had been arrested in Sauk County, Wisconsin; and charged with domestic battery. The family member lived in Illinois, but the alleged assault occurred in Wisconsin. I needed an attorney who was licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. The case lasted approximately 15 months. The results were impressive and gratifying. The domestic battery charge-a felony; was dropped, as were other charges. The final disposition-agreed to by all parties; was a fine-a "forfeiture, plus costs"-of $365.50. The favorable disposition was the result of Jay's efforts.
