We hired this firm to prepare our living trust which is very complex. He is very experienced. He took time for us, met our all needs. We highly recommend this firm.

I lost my husband to Covid in 2020 while suffering from Covid myself as well. We both were in the hospital. I went home in a week; my husband passed away there after three weeks. I actually had to oaky them turning off life support as there was no hope. This was a second marriage and my husband left no will. Who expected to die like this? I was very ill myself, buried in paper work, and didn’t know much about my husband’s financial background. I needed a good and thoughtful attorney. My son knows and recommended Dan Van Slett. He proved to be very knowledgeable, very kind, very patient and very thorough. My husband’s estate included several income properties, three grown daughters and in the beginning an ill widow. I can not say enough about what a good man and excellent attorney Daniel Van Slett is.

Attorney Daniel Van Slett was a pleasure to meet and talk with yesterday morning. As a senior recently moved here, I was referred to this young man by a new friend. I lost my dear brother last month, and Dan listened to my estate filing concerns—he was thorough and understandable as he guided me through the process. Ended up that I did not need to retain his services yet he still took time during this complimentary visit to make sure that I understood what I needed to do to satisfy the estate. Found Daniel when our lawyer retired and it was the best thing I could have done. (Wish I'd found him sooner!) He is very knowledgeable, sensitive and caring. He asked good questions and brought our documents up to date teaching us a lot. I would recommend him to anyone.

My husband and I recently moved back to Wisconsin from Florida. We had had our will and trust done in Florida but we wanted to make sure everything was in place for Wisconsin. Dan made several suggestions that made our trust easier to work with and was exceedingly thorough. The process was completed on Zoom which we were all comfortable with and the final signing was done in Dan’s office with masks and social distancing. All in all we were delighted with the work.
