This lawyer firmly believes that those without financial means should endure hardship. $4,000 retainer fee. $400 an hour for consultations. Shame. Edit: quippy comment from greedy lawyer suggests that I overstated the consultation. It's like $375. The law shrouds itself in secrecy behind the greed of lawyers creating different tiers of justice for those without means. You are a public servant, not a ruler.

Karyn is so helpful and so knowledgeable. I'm so happy I was referred over to her. With so many lawyers out there it seems, she is the real deal. I'd recommend her to anyone, even if you have what you think is a simple case. Hire her, because it can turn to complex in a day. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is truly caring for you as a person and wants what is best for you.

Dan was very helpful in explaining the various aspects of wills, revocable and nonrevocabke trusts. He spent well over an hour with us gratis initially. He is clearly knowledgeable in the field of elder law and guided us in both making decisions re: our various choices and completing necessary paper work. Estate planning was all new to me as it will be for most people. i wholerheartedly recommend Krause Estate planning. from start to finish the teams rare and genuine dedication to their work in coming up with the best plan for myself was much more than i had expected. in a nutshell and without going into my private details it started with being asked exactly what i would like done. i worked with Carly Fenske. her expertise in the field of estate planning was astounding. in our one and only meeting she was able to take care of every aspect of my planning and also solve other real estate problems of which i had concerns about. when i do pass my son will work with then if he has any questions. and i'm sure he will. i had previously contacted other "estate planners". asking me to fill out their forms online about every aspect of your finances what stocks, bonds, CDs , dividends properties, values, your family and on and on. to my meeting with Carly i brought all of the above mentioned. none of it was necessary! from the first phone call setting up my appointment communication and reminders were outstanding. i also felt that Krause estate planning is more of a family than a company. you feel at home as soon as you sit down with them. i am also giving them my permission to use me as referral.

My wife and I delayed our estate planning as we felt it would be a difficult and overwhelming task. How wrong we were. Dan Krause knows estate law inside and out. He, along with Maggie and Angela, answered all of our questions throughly and made sure we understood each of the documents they prepared for us. I hired Karyn Gimbel Youso to represent me in a difficult high conflict divorce case. I was looking for someone to guide me, with confidence and ease through this case. I was unsure of what my capabilities, and abilities moving forward with the divorce. I wanted a low conflict divorce, that would end with a fair end result. Karyn definitely delivered. This bright team of knowledgeable, ethical and caring people helped us do our estate planning. My dad was an attorney and a federal judge and could sniff out the good ones--he would have loved this team. Their listening skills and professional style may have an equal somewhere, but why look elsewhere when you know you have a good thing right in front of you?

Attorney Hume did a wonderful job helping my friend not lose his SSI and benefits when there was a death in the family. She recommended and helped him set up a special needs trust.
