I found Tom Grieve's advice, as given in a YouTube video, to be very useful. Mr. Grieve mixed both his technical legal knowledge and his own anecdotal information to increase my knowledge regarding Castle Doctrine. He is a fine speaker and is very knowledgeable.

The information was very valuable. The answers to the questions were many question I myself have wondered or have spoken about in my circles. I found the tidbit about the concealed carry badge very insightful. I am a half Korean and half black law abiding gun carrying citizen and with the fear of how African-amercians have been isolated in various situations involving a firearm and even the person who apprehended the suspects of a shooting being the one to get shot dead by the police officers I thought the badge may provide an added protective measure but as a thought along with the sensibility of not using that crazy badge he helped to bust the myth about the use of that badge. His information was timely and very informative an as a result I am armed with good information and will take the appropriate measures to ensure I do the right things if I am involved in a situation involving in discharging my firearm.

I worked with attorney Julia Westley for my owi case. She was always very responsive to any inquiries I had even after my sentencing. I could always tell that she genuinely cared about where the case was going and felt that she had my best interests at heart and it wasn't just about getting the case over with. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed your input on 12-12-18 very much. Prior to retirement, I spent almost 40 years in Law Enforcement working the highest crime neighborhoods, so most of what was discussed was a review for me. For others, I believe this info is vital. I especially appreciated your comment that the laws will be interpreted differently by an "Anti Gun" prosecutor, or court, as opposed to "Pro Gun" reviews of the same exact laws.
Review for me is extremely helpful, especially in the context that I no longer have Peace Officer authority or responsibilities. Whatever "Protections" or "Responsibilities" it afforded are NO LONGER present in retirement. Engagement should be solely to defend myself or my family when NO OTHER reasonable options exist. Since retirement I have found it somewhat difficult to disassociate myself from 40 years of SOP so review helps to keep my "civilian status" fresh in my mind. Charging after a criminal (property crime criminal) as I once did to take them into custody, would be to force a confrontation solely for the purpose of protection my "stuff." It, almost certainly, would be viewed from that standpoint. Protection of "STUFF" is what insurance companies are there for.
