Second time using him currently... he is so thorough he remembered details from first case years ago! Great man to work with. And the front desk lady is so sweet always understanding and very helpful

His words To me--- WE FIGURED YOU WERE GOING TO TRY FOR MORE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET. It was almost like he was in collaboration with the company instead of working for me. Upon finding out the insurance company didnt pay all of the bills from the first 3 appts of the claim which was 2 yrs ago even though i submitted them at time of visit and 3 months after(amazing by the way the bills didnt come again til after the settlement) i sent copies to him and got this response WE figured you were going to try for more money in your pocket. WE ..HE WROTE.. And the whole thing is an insult towards me. I just wanted to be compensated for medical liability and loss of income. More money in my pocket nope to pay the bills the insurance company should have paid 2 years ago.

Lauren received her retainer in July 2019. She told me at the consultation that the second she received the money she would schedule an OTSC hearing. My marriage was less than 8 years so I could only receive short term maintenance, so she said we had to request it ASAP. I heard NOTHING from her for a month. I called the office multiple times, she was always busy or on vacation. Her paralegal finally told me she had taken on too many cases. It only gets worse from there. I never got the OTSC hearing, she never called me back. I had to schedule "phone appointments" I was charged $390 and$480 for phone calls. She charged me to complete a maintenance calculator, FIDI, ect. She never filed anything with the court. She had a settlement meeting with my estranged husband and his attorney, I was not present, they decided I had to refinance the car into just my name. There is so much more, she quit and said I fired her, used the retainer, upped her fee by $50 without notifying me. I received a bill for $2000. I felt like I was facing a criminal charge, not a divorce. I will never recover from this, emotionally or financially. I was divorced over the phone with no attorney and nothing filed. I have dealt with other attorneys, I have never seen or heard anything like this. I would never recommend Lauren Otto to anyone for any reason.

Worst Attorney ever. Went for a quick buck instead of the clients best interest. Avoid this law firm!
