I would like to start this off by saying that Joel did a fantastic job not only with the legal side of things but with his communication as to the whereabouts and new information discovered as the estate case progressed. My sister and I needed help in dealing with my father's estate. Joel was the very first lawyer we called and he was also the last. My sister and I felt right about him from the very beginning. He was very informative and also His consultation was effective and his results were fantastic. I called a few other law firms, only because I was taught to look into all possibilities; however, knew I was going to access his services after his effective consultation. My father had passed away and left my sister and I in the dark as to what was going to happen to his estate. He had remarried and his new wife THOUGHT she was going to keep everything. My sister and I didn't want to put my dad's new wife into any hardship situation, for we just wanted to get what was fair. Joel gave me a good place to start and based off of those results we determined that appointing somebody experienced was the best step to take. Overall his experience coupled with his effective communication are the reason why I would recommend him and of course why I have him 5 stars. I am glad I got him to help and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I need any further help.

UPDATE: I appreciate the response from this business and here is my response. In the process of finding an estate attorney, at the time I wrote the original review, I came across the listing for this attorneys office. Reminded of my past experience and I felt it was appropriate to write a review stating just the facts of my experience at the time. I also remember not feeling comfortable writing a review at the time of my experience fearing some form of retaliation. Just stating the facts. ORIGINAL Review: I can only speak for what I experienced. Meet with Jonathan Lundeen and planned on setting up a retainer. Asked him to review some documents. After a couple weeks hearing nothing from Mr Lundeen and few phone calls he never returned I stopped by and picked up my documents. Mr Porter acted as the county arbitrator between an insurance company and I for a small claims case. My decision to settle was base on Mr Porter's recommendation. After signing the settlement documents Mr Porter began promoting his arbitration services to the insurance companies attorney. Displaying a potential conflict of interest. So was his recommendation skewed by his concern for promoting his arbitration services or was he recommending the best interest of BOTH parties?

If I could give 0 I would worst lawyer ever! Save your$ defend your self! Biggest POS east of the Mississippi do not waste your time with this LOSER!
