i am a former client who was disabled in car accident. I am a single mother hired Mr. Ablan with borrowed money for retainer. He promised to not go over. He did not perform duties promised and showed up late for trial. He billed us more than $20000. Over retainer and took our personnal injury. It was in a trust and after divorce he went before judge and had him reverse his order and award him his additional attorney. Fees he claimed were accurate out of an honest attorney trust in La Crosse who represented me and my child. Charged me for things that he promised he would not and he was initially hired to save our personally injury among other assets from the opposing side. Instead we lost and he put a claim in for his fees on the one thing my kids had to start over and he took it. I am disabled so dont know how he could do this to my children and i.
