Maryam was an incredible attorney to work with - she helped me get past an OPT denial and get my application for permanent residence approved! I first met with Maryam after my OPT was denied and during my appeal process, and then continued working with her when I filed for permanent residence through marriage. Before hiring her to help with my case, my husband and I had met with a few other lawyers to see who would be the best fit to help me; Maryam was a standout among the 3 other attorneys we met with. From the the very first meeting, we could tell that she was professional and knowledgable about immigration proceedings, showed great interest and concern for my situation, GENUINELY CARED and wanted to help, displayed great attention to detail as well as understanding of my immigration history, and never once pressured me to choose her as my lawyer. After working with her for 2 years, we are most impressed by her work ethic (e.g. she continued to work on our case during her maternity leave so that she didn't have to leave us with another attorney that had no prior knowledge of our case), moral character, and the fact that she is always thinking several steps ahead and is prepared for (and also prepared us for) any outcome while still doing everything possible to prevent the worst from happening. Last but not least, Maryam almost always responded within the same day and never more than 24 hours of either of us contacting her with a question or concern (unless it was the weekend) - for us, this was HUGE! We did not experience this with other attorneys so we found this to be a huge advantage!

Maryam represented my wife and I as we applied for permanent residence status for her after our marriage. In spite of this, Maryam quickly guided our case to approval without requests for evidence or delay. I was lucky to find Maryam in my time of need. I had a very difficult and unique divorce case, and Maryam was meticulous, comprehensive, approachable, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I was impressed that she did the travelling to my county throughout the whole process, and she never missed a phone call or an appointment. She was also thorough, and kept us updated during the whole ordeal. My wife, at the time, had disappeared back to Mexico, and we hadn't had contact with her for a couple of years. My main focus was to protect my daughter from visitation rights, and possibly never seeing her again, just as my wife had done. With Maryam's expertise, I was able to gain full custody of my daughter, and was granted a legal divorce without any sign, whereabouts or representation from my wife throughout the whole process. Without Maryam's guidance, I would have feared for my daughter's future, but with Maryam's guidance and professionalism, we have a bright future together, and most importantly, peace of mind. I am very satisfied with Maryam's work and would recommend her to anybody. Lastly, I feel comforted knowing that she is available for any further developments, and/or questions that I may have if my daughter's mother should ever come back and cause trouble. I hired Maryam for immigration for my wife. I tried to do myself but i was overwhelmed. I fear if i wouldn't have hired her my wife's case it would have been denied. I was very happy with her.
