Without going into great detail I just wanted to say that Rick is both and exceptional attorney as well as an exceptional human being. His handling of all aspects of my case were beyond excellent. 5 star on all facets. The charges against me were suspect and Rick was able to get them dismissed. Thank you for helping me clear this up Rick. You are the best.

It’s hard to put into words how positively overwhelmed I am with the criminal defense provided to me by Rick Coad and his law office. Even though my case has been over with for some time I still get emotional thinking about it. Rick did an incredible job at mitigating the damage and insuring I was treated fairly throughout the process. Despite what I was going through and the uncertainty of my future leading up into sentencing, Rick made me feel safe and prepared. Rick is a wizard at working “across the aisle” with prosecutors and special agents. Something about him allows him to break down a lot of formalities and have genuine human interactions with the other side. Even when there were disagreements between parties, which of course there were, he was able to navigate with a level of professionalism and humanity that is scarce in bureaucracy. A quick google search will reveal the numerous awards, acknowledgements, and technical skills that Rick Coad has to offer. He has been recognized over and over again by his clients AND his peers. A good criminal defense is likely to be both expensive and complex, but Rick’s is worth every single penny and then some. I’ll be completely transparent in that the rates felt expensive to me at first. At the time I’d had no life experience with lawyers/criminal defense or anything of the sort, however, now that I’m out of the woods I can say it may have been the best money I’ve spent in my life. Rick was super flexible throughout the payment process as well, worked with me on a payment plan early on in the case which made things easier. My case went on for another 1.5 years after I’d finished paying Rick and I always felt like he continued to give 110% long after being paid for his services. His dedication and hard work never faltered, he also never asked me for another dime despite putting in so much more into the case. Rick is a really awe-inspiring person and an outstanding criminal defense attorney. In some ways he helped save my life and I will be forever thankful to have known him.

Have a consumer issue. They can't make any money off it so they won't take the case. Period.

i was very depressed when we first met on my Federal case and he listened to me for hours…. i drove many miles straight to see Rick….. he looked at everything and was very straight forward as to what we could do….i would recommend him to anyone because he knows the system in the court area ( very very helpful) and we took two ways of working the final part and he really let me pick the final choice how we presented our case to the judge….. i am in his debt for ever . Rick is the best, very concerned and he really does his work

I brought a very complicated case to Mr. Wayne. As unfair as the totality of the circumstance was, Mr. Wayne did a lot of work, and maximized my return. He leveraged his contacts to create a think-tank for my case, he focused on technical fouls to prevent the Court from being able to easily dispose of my case, and he worked with me to make sure my side was heard without adding to the complexity. At the end of it all, he negotiated a settlement that minimized the damage that the Court did to my jury verdict, and led to a timely resolution to a long-standing ordeal. Highly recommended.
