Bugni is an excellent communicator and cares deeply about his clients. He is spectacular and tactful. I could not recommend someone more!

I had the privilege to have Attorney Joseph A. Bugni to be my counsel. He's very well versed on both, Federal and State Law. Unlike other attorneys, he will make sure to visit his clients, when needs to, and likewise, he will not hesitate to answer an important client phone call. His skills concerning legal Briefs and Motions drafting, are the best in the field. And when it comes to his acumen towards oral arguments in court, attorney Joseph A. Bugni is one of the best at that. When he was my attorney he always made sure that my best interest was always his top priority, in resolving my case.

My family member was facing 10 years in prison. Mr. Bugni was assigned to us and listened to me and my family with full attention. We decided to go another route since we were made empty promises. However, even after going another route, Mr. Bugni remained as our counsel, he listened to us and guided us. After the sentence, Mr. Bugni still helped my family while my family served time. I recommend Joe Bugni because he has a caring heart and listens to the person and figures out what’s going on with your case. Once he figures it out, he goes to bat for his clients all the way. He keeps fighting for his client, no matter what. And no matter how busy he is, he always gets back to you and makes sure you feel important. Even when you get him mad and yell at him, he still fights. It’s not always easy for him because he has so many cases but yet he finds a way to keep on fighting. He doesn’t stop fighting for you. He fights for the little guy and doesn’t back down from a fight—that much is solid gold. I appreciate him immensely for that. When we were at a brick wall in my case, he didn’t stop there, he ran through the wall. And the whole time he told me to stay calm and that we would get through this and he did that. I am forever grateful for him and his help.

My fiance has been incarcerated with the feds since 2011 with 2 more years to go, we reached out to Joe Bugni with hopes that he qualified for the 821 ammendment that just went into effect, we were super hopeful and disappointed to find out that he didn't qualify, Joe dug a little bit and seen that my fiance was oversentanced, and he is coming home!! Joe has been absolutely AMAZING and nothing short of a miracle! He responded with stupid questions and took the time out of his day so that my fiance got relief, and Joe was constantly updating my fiance and myself so it was never a question of what was going on. met Joe Bugni at my arraignment and immediately he impressed me. He asked if I had a Qur'aan (I didn’t) and told me he would get me one and he did. That was the first of my many meaningful experiences with this superb attorney. In court, he told the judge and the prosecutor that he was going to put everything into fighting the case even "the kitchen sink.” Whereas I assumed I would be railroaded, not having the means to attain private legal representation, having Joe showed me I was mistaken. He met with me frequently to better understand the kind of person I was. He also came up with plans early on in the case to allot more time for us to work together and was always available for me. He even visited my mom and came to understand my family’s background. I comprehend that those who have a career field in law have to have solid memories and structured minds of compartmentalization for all the legal jargon and factors involved in defending a criminal case. How else could one be in this career field of criminal legal defense? When it comes to those traits, Joe has it all. He had a great memory and doggedly pursued every angle of the case that would help. He was a constant workhorse and was always well prepared and creative in formulating and carrying out my defense. Not only was he a great attorney, he also took care of the human side of things. He picked me up from the jail and coordinated where I should go, even stopping to buy me groceries so I’d have everything I needed. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

I have had many lawyers over my lifetime and without question Joe is the best I’ve ever had. It’s not even a close call. What has set him apart from other attorneys and makes him special is his compassion, his honesty, and his ability. He doesn’t pull punches in the courtroom, like a bulldog he’s fights for you with everything he has and he keeps fighting never giving up. He isn’t just a beast in the courtroom, he also is helpful in a time of need and has great compassion for his clients. He’s never judgmental and truly cares. I have come to him time and again with problems and he always finds a way to help. I don’t count him as just my lawyer, I see him as trusting and loyal friend who always has my back. So I’ve had multiple attorneys throughout my life never have I had an attorney that’s going to fight for you listen to and be there for you as much as Mr. Bugni he understands the law he’s going to give it to you straight, and he will do everything in his power to help you out to the best of his ability I highly recommend this attorney.
