After my ex decided to leave our relationship and move way up north with her new man, and threatened to take our little girl with her, I found Adam Onkels at Cordell and Cordell. Adam placed and received an ex parte order on a weekend!! and from there on he fought and won battle after battle for me! When Adam moved to Forward Legal. I followed and hired him there as well. Thanks to Adam, i now have placement for my child and my little girl now has a stable and loving environment with me. Thank you Adam, you are indeed an amazing Attorney!

Adam was absolutely amazing to work with. I was served with a temporary restraining order on a Friday night, with a hearing the following week. I left Adam a voicemail over the weekend, and was contacted back by him right away. He had me in the following day for a meeting to discuss the situation and a strategy, and even worked over an hour past office hours to make sure I had the time with him that I needed. He even agreed to arrive at the hearing extra early, just for my own comfort, as I was terrified to go to a court hearing. I can’t recommend Adam enough, and can’t thank him enough for all the work and effort he put in on such a short notice. He made the terrible situation so much easier to handle. Oh and he had the case dismissed! :)

Adam is an incredibly competent attorney and the other review on this site is not consistent with my experience working with Adam. Not only does he meet with clients to prepare for hearings, but clients receive detailed emails outlining the strategy in the case and regular status updates. Adam is fantastic to work with and someone who you know truly cares.

After Cordell's bait and switch tactic of interviewing one lawyer, but being assigned to another, I was assigned to Adam as the only lawyer in the local office taking new clients. Working with Adam was a disaster from the start. There was no consistent manner for Adam to gather his facts, and he never communicated any real strategy for how he would handle my case. When it came time for Adam to present in a temporary order hearing, it was an absolute disaster. I was not adequately prepared by my lawyer, and my lawyers briefing to the commissioner left out very pertinent facts that I had spent hours documenting. After being charged $5k for the two weeks following that terrible hearing with still no plan, I parted ways.
