We hired Andrea to help with my partner's permanent residency card. We paid her fee upfront, but did not see the follow through expected. She did not file the initial paper work correctly (something very basic I was told) and this set us back several months in the process. When we went to her office for our scheduled appointment to sign the corrected paper work, she was out of town and had not called us to reschedule the appointment (to her credit, she did come and deliver the papers later to our residence). We actually had to call her attention to things that needed to be done for USCIS instead of the other way around. It was unsettling to feel such a lack of confidence in someone who is supposed to be looking out for you. Finally, we decided to hire another attorney, forgoing our fee that we had paid her to do this work. Our new attorney found out there was a way for my partner to get his driver's license while we wait for the work permit and green card to be processed. We had asked Andrea the same but she said it was not possible. I am sharing this information because we do not want to see other families have to go through the stress and frustration we did with Andrea. We found the means to hire another attorney, but I know many families would not be able to do that.

I used this law office for my child custody case. Having never been through this I had no idea what to expect or what the process was and was very nervous about the whole situation. My lawyer (Nikole) was very professional, straight to the point and took time to explain everything out to me which put me at ease. She took the time to talk to me every step of the way really listening to me and when it came to the hearing/agreement I got exactly what I wanted. Cant recommend Sterling Law enough
