I highly recommend Attorney John Fields. He and his team of paralegals always made me comfortable despite going through such a stress-inducing ordeal. Even if I called two or three times in a day they were always patient and happy to help. Not only was John able to take my case immediately, he made time to schedule our initial consultation within a day of me inquiring. What immediately struck me was that he was easy to talk to and always took time to explain the process step-by-step in ways I could understand. Over the course of 18 months, I came to genuinely appreciate the importance of having a family lawyer who you feel at ease speaking to and is available for you. When going through a family court case, you’re naturally going to lose sleep over it, but knowing you have an experienced and dedicated attorney helping you makes it much better. John wholeheartedly cares about his clients and their families, and he takes the wellbeing of children very seriously. Without a doubt, he is the lawyer you want in the courtroom, and he is the person you want to talk about your case with.

I needed an attorney who would help with my child custody dispute, which had been addressed in the divorce a year prior, but did not provide for a safe situation for the 3 children my ex husband and I have together. I searched the area for attorneys, and was very disappointed with the results. After speaking with Attorney Fields, who lived several hours away, I was confident he was the man for the job. He lived across the state, but was willing to take the case and travel wherever needed. My case was a very difficult child custody case. Attorney Fields always made time to speak with me when I needed legal advice about the sometimes rapidly-changing situation, when I had concerns about different aspects of the case, and anytime I needed clarification on an issue. He was patient and professional, but also resolute when it came to speaking with the other party. In addition to Attorney Field’s skill, his paralegal, Magdalene, was also highly competent, friendly, and professional. I have experienced a great deal of frustration when trying to speak with other attorneys’ staff, but that was not the case with Magdalene. She is an outstanding asset to his team. I have been impressed with Attorney Field’s knowledge, skills, flexibility, and powers of persuasion. He prepared diligently and thoroughly for the trial, and his strong case contributed to a last-minute settlement assuring full satisfaction of my concerns moving forward. Attorney Fields settled for nothing less than 100% of what I wanted done. He was expensive, but worth every penny. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if I would have had him for the divorce itself!

He was looking out in my best interest the whole time. My ex was trying to leave me without child support or anything, and Attorney Fields made sure to establish this right away. He was there to help me and explained things with detail. He made the process simple to understand.

John was fired after he laugh when I explained I read the lawyers Code of Ethics and Conduct. Jonh was lazy, lacks communication, and attention for detail. Beware!. April takes instead of listening and interrupts constantly. Magdalene rushes conversation and screens emails. Of course, this was my experience during a divorce. Good Luck! Bad News I'll be filing a grievance with the board of Wisconsin.

If divorce was war Mr. Fields is the ammo to win the war. What do i mean, through and through in my very lengthy divorce Mr. Fields stood by my side and walked me through the restraining order fight, placement, custody and marriage agreement so I was able to have my children 50% of the time.

My experience with Mr. Fields was absolutely fantastic. He was very compassionate when working with me. He got me what I wanted and stayed true to his word.

Had a lengthy divorce with many custody issues. Was very attentive and helpful navigating the court system. Consulted with several experts to get advice and recommendations for asset and retirement plans. Has also been available and represented our family for post - judgement financial issues, does a very thorough review with great outcomes!!
