I had this lawyer for a case where my friend and I had been racially profiled, harassed, and assaulted by the sheriff's deputies. He helped me win my case so that I didn't have to pay a ticket, but I did feel a little lost during the whole process and had to reach out to them myself whenever something would come up - sometimes it would be months that I wouldn't hear anything about my case and then I'd get a letter from the city and I'd freak out not knowing what it meant so I'd have to reach out about my case. I wish there had been a bit more consultation, but also I was a pro bono case. Luckily I had a friend who is a lawyer who was able to talk me through some things as well. I would recommend this lawyer, but not for pro bono. EDIT: I posted this review after being prompted by Aneeq Ahmad and his paralegal 3 times in 9 days to review his services. After I then left what he considered to be a less than satisfactory review (my original review was a 3 star review) Aneeq Ahmad emailed me asking me to "reconsider" my review. I feel that this is extremely unprofessional behavior. My initial review of this lawyer was that I would recommend this lawyer, just not for pro bono services. My amended review is that I cannot recommend him as a lawyer, especially for pro bono services. Yes, he won my case, but if he acted this way with any of my friends who went through something like this I could never comfortably say that I would want them interacting with him as a lawyer after a traumatic experience with the police.

I hired Mindy Nolan for an attorney after I was charged with 4th degree sexual assault. Already On extended supervision, and facing a possible 10 year revocation sentence, I was devastated to say the least! Mindy went to work on my behalf right away!!! After hiring Miss Nolan, I didn’t even have the chance to sulk in my sadness!! Seems like every few days, there was more good news!!! I actually wondered if she slept. Mindy beat my revocation hearing (almost unheard of) and I was released on signature bond. 6 months later, I am now proud to say that my case was dismissed yesterday at pretrial!!!! Aneeq represented me on my case and from the get go, told me he would win my case and get it all taken care of. I had a warrant and Aneeq handled that with ease. He told me we had challenges and on our second court appearance he called me after and informed me that the State was dismissing the case based on the challenges we were planning on filing. Amazing!
