I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for Attorney Kendrick Yandell and his Associate, Attorney Melissa Ivens. From the beginning of my situation, Attorney Yandell stated that he was a fighter and would defend me as strongly as possible. My first impression of Kendrick Yandell was sincerity and honesty. Kendrick took my information and shown great concerns for the issue I present to him. He is very knowledgeable, easy to speak with and I was impress at how he made me feel he would do everything he could for me.

I have now consulted with Kendrick twice for family law related topics and Kendrick was extremely helpful and honest in relation to how we should proceed with our case. We decided to hold off on moving forward with our case for now but if anything changes, we will definitely trust Kendrick to represent us on our journey. Attorney Yandell was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I had a very odd case at hand and he handled it professionally and smoothly. His communication was wonderful and he answered any and all questions I had. He helped me prep the day before the case and left me feeling extremely prepared and confident. The day of the case went smoothly. He handled communication with the other party since I did not want to interact with them. He took excellent notes to defend me and my case and was well prepared if not over prepared. 2 hours later we won the case and I got exactly what I had wanted out of it. Ken was recommended to me by a friend when I expressed some issues I was having with a real estate sale. He was able to easily step into the situation and bring it to a more than satisfactory resolution. My closing brought me a much higher return than I expected and much less stress in the negotiations. We were in the middle of selling our house and things got very complicated. Our realtor was definitely not working for us. We ended up having to get a real estate lawyer and Attorney Yandell was recommended to us by friends. He was amazing! Looked over all the paperwork and the whole situation, quickly knew exactly where we stood legally. He then took over all communication and within 24 hours of his first phone call to our realtor and broker everything was solved. He was so professional, caring, patient and knowledgeable. In both cases, the best strategy is to have one before s/he is needed. That was our lesson learned. When my business partner and I decided to start our own LLC, we needed a lawyer to draft our operating agreement. Our initial laywer made promises that he didn't keep and didn't have a decency to return our calls for a month. Finally, we fired that lawyer! The second time around, I had done my research by asking my salsa friends, who owned their own small businesses for their recommendations. Ken Yandell was highly recommended. I have known Ken for more than a few years as a great dancer and an awesome person. The rest is history... It didn't take us long to see how smart he was. Ken is professional, efficient, skillful communicator and very supportive. He reads people well and takes his time. It doesn't hurt that he has a great sense of humor, too. You are never left in the dark with Ken. We can't say enough good things about him. Ken has restored our faith that there are decent lawyers who do not charge an arm and a leg, provide guidance, assistance and expertise in a timely manner. His ability to explain all legal terms in the most simplistic way and include examples related to our potential issues was incredible. I was recommend by a club owner that I know to hire Kendrick Yandell. At first I’m like “I’m going to lose, might as well stick with the public defender plus I don’t have all the money” so I gave Mr. Ken (as I call him) a call just to see what he’s talking about. I told him everything that happened and he said “you can win” and I said “I would like to hire you but I don’t have all the money” he his words were “don’t worry we’ll handle hat later” and became my lawyer. I’ve been stressed and dispersed about it and he cared for me and showed me everything was gonna be alright. He returned my calls. We even kept in contact through text message whenever I had a question or concern. He made me feel like my case was his priority. He’s definitely worth every penny.
