I would like to take this time and thank Atty.Josh Turim for a great job with my workers compensation case. His professionalism that was shown toward me was off the charts I'm speaking about his expertise, knowledge, and experience. When I would have a new question and call his office even his staff were so great making sure he would get my message. My return call was always in a timely manner and never once he made me feel stupid asking ridiculous questions. He has this great ability to comfort you and never changing his tone of voice when speaking to you. Kate McChrystal has been the most phenomenal lawyer during an incredibly difficult divorce and I was lucky to have her as my attorney. He helped the DA’s office send his innocent client to prison. He never contacted his client after he was paid. He never filed a witness list or submitted ANY evidence that could have possibly vindicated his client and proved his innocence. Chernin moved his office and lost contact with him until a day before his trial was to begin. Chernin showed up to trial unprepared and was very oblivious to circumstances surrounding the case. As a result an innocent black man was sent to prison with no solid or physical evidence used against him with the help of Michael Chernin, former Assistant DA Aaron E. Hall and the incompetent and racist (my personal opinion) Judge Rebecca F. Dallet. Michael Chernin is incompetent, yet very crafty with perverting the law against his clients who file a complaint against him . He tells you what you want to hear from an attorney about your case until you hire him and realize he’s a fraud. It may be too late for you when you realize this. The many years he’s been allowed to practice as such is despicable. He targets desperate people and poor inner city families. He’s crooked. You will spend your life trying to appeal if you hire him. He takes client’s money, don’t return calls, lies, don’t keep his word, gives his clients false hope, tells his clients he knows such and such to persuade you to hire him, & he also uses his influence as an “attorney” against you if you complain. DO NOT PAY HIM IN CASH. If you do please get a receipt. That’s the only thing that helped me a little when I filed a complaint with the Office of Lawyer Regulations. I pray he’s exposed one day for his long history of judicial misconduct. My comments are based on my experience and others I know experiences with him. The Office of Lawyer Regulation as well as Wisconsin courts support such behavior that’s why he’s still practicing and still causing people especially poor black families judicial harm. My opinion. My review is not meant to defame him or cause harm but to help future clients make a sound judgment before hiring him on their behalf or the behalf of a loved one. I encourage you all to do research and find out for yourselves how many cases of his are in appeal for Ineffective Counsel; the amount is immeasurable.

1st and foremost, if you are looking for and excellent Workers Compensation Attorney that fights like a bulldog and gets the job done look no further, Josh Turim is your man!!!!!! My lawsuit took 3 years, beginning to end, and every step of the way Josh was extremely helpful and empathetic, but the best part of Josh is his ability to respond to my emails incredibly fast as early as within 30 minutes and at worst case, late the same day or 1st thing the following day. He is so patient, especially in the beginning, since most of us work injury novice’s are forced in learning all the processes of a work comp claim. We the injured, rely heavily on our counsels advice, expertise, knowledge, and experience. Josh NEVER once made me feel stupid for asking ridiculous questions or scenarios of how different aspects play out when new questions arise. His attention to his clients and their needs are REALLY BAR NONE! I’ve retained attorneys a few times for various reasons in the past with very positive outcomes; however, Josh was the best attorney experience of all. Josh has grown up in a law environment as his father started the practice so don’t be afraid to retain Josh if you feel his age may reflect his experience and expertise, quite the contrary!!!! His father did a great job mentoring him and he is incredibly intelligent naturally as well. If you’re old enough to remember the TV show of the young doctor Doogie Howser, Josh is the attorney version of Doogie Howser! Furthermore his negotiating skills are fantastic as he really knows how to fight for what his clients wants and expectations are. In my opinion, Josh Turim is the best workers compensation attorney in all of Wisconsin, as a matter of fact, my cousin which is in the top 10 Corporate Lawyers in the nation and #1 in Wisconsin and considered a Super Lawyer 1st referred me to another super lawyer for work compensation claims based in Madison looked at my case and told me I don’t have a case. As depressing as that attorney made me feel by declining to defend me, I looked up the reviews of my local work comp attorneys which Turim and Hickey had very high reviews. I initially wanted to meet with Josh’s dad to represent me when Josh received my voicemail then called me back to set up my in person appointment within an hour of the initial call. When I met Josh in my 1st interview, I was very polite yet frank, respectfully asking his age. At that very moment when he stated his age, he explained to not be concerned of this fact because he has worked every position within his fathers practice while growing up and during his schooling. I’m confident Josh’s father would have done great for me but I really could not be happier with Josh and very proud I retained him especially when he looked at my file and reassured me that my previous inquiry with the super lawyer in Madison that denied my representation probably felt that I was too small of a fish to represent but then made me feel so good by his words of acceptance and support explaining I actually have a very strong case that can be very lucrative. Josh was absolutely spot on from that day forward. AGAIN, retain Josh Turim for a very positive outcome but most importantly retain Josh Turim because he is an expert in this field and his advise, promptness to communicate, empathy for the physical/emotional aspects you’ll experience during this Unfair/Grueling process, he is a master at supporting you, answering ALL questions no matter how dumb they may be, and he really has an incredible ability to comfort you when nobody else in this unfortunate process make you feel. Being involved with Kate as the respondent in my divorce case, I can tell you that she never seemed to put the welfare of our family or our children before her client. The overall communication was very poor right from the start putting my marriage at further risk than it already was. I believe Kate is a great lawyer if you want to win, but when it comes to keeping your family together I can't say she would be my first pick.

This law firm is truly pathetic. Attorney McChrystal single handedly ruined any chance my family had of being reunited. Her lack of compassion and horrible communication skills destroyed any possibility of my family having a chance. She continuously made decisions without consulting with my wife, her client, which not only cost her money she did not have, but separated me from my children. She claims that she prefers the easier, softer way but that could not be further from the truth. She would constantly threaten me using my children to get what she wanted. The whole situation was and remains extremely sad. I would strongly recommend staying as far away from this law firm as possible if you would like to have any chance at a peaceful resolution to your divorce.
