I found Hickey and Turim by contacting a personal injury asking for references. They came highly recommended by this other firm. During my first meeting with Josh, it became very clear to me that this was the guy I wanted working for me. Josh was very compassionate and willing to help me with my situation. During the entire process, he explained everything in very easy to understand terms, and was always quick to respond whenever I had questions. In the end, he was able to get me more than what I ever thought I would receive.

In my opinion, 5 stars isn't enough for this firm!! I was very apprehensive about contacting a lawyer for my workmen's comp. claim. I've never had any good experience in the lawyer department. But thanks to Joshua Turim, I have new found gratitude! To say he went above and beyond for me is an understatement. Anytime I contacted him, he answered me lightning fast. Even though my claim wasn't a huge amount, he still went out of his way to get me what I deserved. If anyone you know needs a great lawyer, Josh and his firm is the place to call!!

I WORK FOR AN HOME HEALTH AGENCY AND I HURT MYSELF BY ONE OF MY CLEINTS ROLLING OVER ON MY ARM, END UP HAD TO HAVE SURGERY. July 2012, I was working as a stocker at Wal-Mart and injured both my shoulders with witnesses present. Following MRI's of my shoulders the doctors Wal-Mart sent me to recommended surgery. I had one large and one massive rotator cuff tears, requiring surgery and a long recovery time. Initially Wal-Mart agreed the injuries were work related and would be covered by Workman's Comp. Eventually workman's comp payments for surgery on my right shoulder were started and stopped when surgery for my left shoulder was scheduled. Wal-Mart's Workman's comp insurance denied all claims stating, "The injuries were not work related". Still in pain from my surgeries I was upset and not sure where to turn. During physical therapy another patient as well as staff at IRC recommended the Hickey and Turim firm. I was told they would do me right. I made and appointment to meet with Josh Turim, who was very professional and understanding regarding my situation. My wife and I were treated with respect and had our options explained to us, with him agreeing to assist us with out troubles. Throughout the almost two years my case dragged on Josh and his staff were always present to answer our questions, were always courteous and treated my wife and I with the utmost respect. They took over dealing with all the medical bills piling up, the frequent communication and headaches Wal-Mart was presenting us. The last time we met with Josh in his office he had a stack of communications at least 4 inches high. The professionalism and patience Josh showed us during this process was great especially during the times we felt really hopeless. His knowledge and skills in dealing with Workman's comp and difficult employers was outstanding. He prepared me well for the workman's comp hearings and appeals ordeals that followed. His abilities allowed us to finally receive a reasonable settlement from Wal-Mart. If anyone is facing difficult times with Workman's Comp, I would definitely recommend Josh Turim of the Hickey and Turim firm. I know Josh will do you right and I believe he is a reflection of the whole firm they will all do you good.
