I am the parent of a 16-year-old who was charged with Operating with a Restricted Controlled Substance w/ minors in the vehicle. The best decision we made was to hire Attorney Chad Lanning. He gave 110% throughout the entire process. Attorney Lanning is extremely knowledgeable about the law, was always prompt for court appearances and was thorough every time we met. I found Chad Lanning via a google search for attorneys in West Bend. Of all the attorneys that I called and left messages for, Chad was the most prompt and professional. He always returned my calls quickly and was easy to talk to. I immediately went to his office for a consult and upon meeting him, hired him on the spot. Chad is hard working, quick to the point, very competent and keenly informative with regard to preparing you for court so that you look your very best in front of the judge and jury. In my case, the state would not work with me, so we had to go to trial. I have found in my experiences that professionals may be hard working, but it means little if you are not good at what you are doing. However, Chad Lanning is undoubtedly the best of the best and his results in my case prove my opinion. In my case, I will honestly tell you that I was very nervous about the trial. Unfortunately l needed to hire an attorney to represent me in a 3rd OWI case. Even though l thought l was wrongfully pulled over l basically thought he would be an overpaid hand holder... l was very happily mistaken. Chad Lanning was very passionate about my case. He felt very strongly about making a motion to supress evidence even though l thought we were wasting our time. People don't get out of OWIs . l went to the hearing totally prepared to go to jail. Had my money, my alarm clock, even had an IID in my car. I was ready to go in. But to my absolute shock, not only was our motion granted but my case was totally dismissed. Without Chad Lanning l would've gone to jail. Period. He was worth every penny.

Attorney Lanning has been an absolute godsend to me. I was in the need of hiring an attorney to assist me with expunging some dismissed TRO's I had on my record. Chad is extremely knowledgable about the laws and seems to enjoy explaining them to his clients in detail and easy to understand. He appeared to enjoy talking in length about the laws and never was in a rush or cut you short. Always was happy to help explain with any question you had. I used him for an appeal, which he won for me and I dread the fact I didn't retain him for my initial case. I can't say enough about him. Even if I didn't win, he is one outstanding attorney. On top of things and gets it accurate and right. I feel he is really more interested in truly helping his clients rather than enjoying the money he makes from his profession. His ethics are outstanding and I highly recommend him if you want an attorney that is knowledgeable and will get you the best results he possibly can. I've retained a few attorneys in my time.
