Spoke with David Inacu this morning for a consultation, after they failed to contact me yesterday as they stated they would. He was extremely rude and rushed before telling me he was too busy for my case and to call someone else. Very unprofessional so don’t even waste your time calling these people. They referred me to sterling law, and they have been extremely pleasant and helpful so I suggest calling them instead of this firm.

Let me start off by saying that David Karp and the entire staff at Karp and Iancu, S.C. are caring, smart, and they are an effective legal team.  I cannot say enough good things about the representation they provided me during my divorce, which lasted over a year. If you are like me, you have probably just been served with divorce papers.  Lots of things are probably swirling through your mind.  Things like, “Should I get an attorney or should I represent myself?” After I picked up the divorce papers from my wife’s attorney, I started to feel overwhelmed.  With so much at stake, I knew that representing myself would not be in my best interest.   I interviewed several attorneys, and in the end, I chose the law firm of Karp and Iancu.  From that very first interview, I knew they were the right fit for me. Let’s face it, divorce is not cheap.   At first, I wanted to try to do most of the negotiating with my wife to save on attorney fees.   Dave Karp honored that request and he was there in case I needed him. My wife and her attorney proved to be very difficult in getting anything done.  When my attempts to negotiate directly with my wife went nowhere, Dave stepped in and worked his magic. Dave Karp is one of the hardest working attorneys I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.  It was the little things,  like how he responded within hours to my emails, even on nights and weekends.  That level of service was unexpected, but very reassuring. Dave made sure that he told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear.  That’s important, with the stress associated with divorce, you need someone to keep you on the right path.  Many of us assume we know how the family court legal process works, but in many cases, we are wrong and Dave and his team are there to help guide us through. Everyone at Karp and Iancu worked hard towards providing me with the best service possible, including partner Dave Iancu and Dave’s legal assistant Krissy Oleson.  I’m sure that many behind the scenes worked equally as hard. There are no winners in divorce, but there are goals each party wants to achieve.   I know that in the end, I managed to get nearly 95% of what I wanted in my settlement agreement.  That would not have happened had I not hired Dave Karp.   His knowledge, skill, work ethic, and his overall caring nature is what made the outcome of my case possible. In the end, the decision is yours, but from personal experience, I highly recommend Dave Karp and the law firm of Karp and Iancu.

The process of finding a lawyer last minute is near impossible, stressful and time consuming to say the least. However the moment that I picked up the phone to call Karp & Iancu I was greeted by a very pleasant lady who provided me with the answers that I needed and promised me that I would be able to speak with an attorney the same day and I did. Kathryn Potratz was a beacon of hope at a time when my options appeared limited and the probability of a satisfactory resolution seemed nigh on impossible. She was able to prepare for my court date with very little notice and her calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional relief to me at a very exasperating time. My children and I are forever thankful for her service and I hereby recommend Kathryn Potratz without reservation.

Lindsey White is a fantastic lawyer. She listens to what the client want but, if they are being emotional she will "bring them back to earth" so to speak! The 3 top things about Lindsey are as follows (and I have unfortunately gone through this before)....does a great job and only charges for the work she does, great communicator and explains the law to a "regular" person, and most important... she cares about her clients!
