EDITED TO ADD AFTER RESPONSE FROM HEATHER: if you would like a cookie cutter response with no actual integrity behind her work, this is the representation for you. Although I was not personally represented by Heather, I was sharing the cost of her representation for my fiancé in his child custody case. I never felt like Heather was on his side. She did not advocate for him like he wished. She did not follow through on discussing issues with the opposing counsel. She heavily encouraged an agreement, when my fiancé was not happy with the agreement - which consisted of almost none of what he petitioned for and no compromise from the other party. She also chose to make a disparaging remark about me to my fiancé, in the midst of mediation - stating “I thought the other party’s significant other was going to be an issue but apparently it is yours”, which was said due to me ACTUALLY advocating for what he wanted and not telling him to compromise everything he was asking for (isn’t that the concept of negotiation?). I found this to be incredibly unprofessional and disrespect to her client. And my advocacy to not agree served him well and he got a fair compromise from the other party. Would not recommend as an advocate, although she accomplished the basics and served as representation. Disappointed in the experience overall.

Had to change lawyers due to no movement in my case and Mr. Durkin was fantastic. In just a short time my appeal was won and when a ridiculous judgement ended my disability early, he won that appeal as well. Always easy to contact and his secretary Sandy is amazing! Highly recommend
