I was charged with a criminal DUI in Brown County for a first offense. This meant I was facing jail time, a suspended driver’s license, installation of an ignition interlock device, inflated auto insurance premiums, fines, and reputational damage certain to negatively impact my business. Matthew helped me through my OWI charge. My case was a little more complicated as I was an out of state driver. He guided me through every step and I never had to see the inside of a court room. In the end he was able to get the drunk driving charge dismissed, and all I had to do was pay a small fine.

Prosecutors in the State of Wisconsin Generate massive revenue for the state through their lucrative OWI Business. As you well know prosecutors push the police hard to generate a case load of OWI because it is a well paying and relatively easy law to exhibit guilt beyond reasonable doubt and to enforce. Evidence collection for OWI and DUI is really easy for the state to collect and Judges give warrants out like bartenders serve drinks. The new Strategy the prosecutors are using now is to push the cops to provoke a drunk driver, cause them to react and look bad, (which is really easy to do with an addict or drunk), then they add A plethora of charges on top which makes their conviction go even smoother and faster in court. They love to rack up charges it just makes them look all the more effective to the public and a jury. Watch out and heed my warning, you are extremely vulnerable while drinking in public. The best thing to do is never drink in public or never travel from home because If the state and MADD really wanted to stop OWI they would pass AN ABSOLUTE SOBRIETY ZERO TOLERANCE LAW FOR BAC LIKE UTAH HAS DONE. IT IS NO SECRET THAT WOULD BE A BAD ECONOMIC DECISION FOR THE ASSEMBLY TO PASS. Everyone knows OWI collects big returns of revenue for the state, creates jobs and keeps the profitable Sherriff jails and prisons at capacity. Just like a confined animal feeding operation who only make money at maximum capacity with no empty spaces, the state of Wisconsin profits from economies of scale which motivates them to lock up citizens and charge the taxpayer for the service. This is the result of running a government like a business. Democracy was not and is not intended to have far reaching business style authority. We created a Democracy to get away from monarchy and dictatorship. Now look up the Definition of Facisim and Socialisim and you decide if we still operate under a government structure of democracy in the Justice branch of Government. A PROSECUTOR WANTS TO TAKE ON EASY JOBS THAT WILL REFLECT WELL AS SUCCESS IN THEIR CAREER.
