I’ve worked with Tristan Eagon for almost a year now. I had a couple other attorneys before her. What I loved about Tristan is she told me the truth. Even if it hurt. She always said she wanted me to be prepared for the worst case scenario, and then we can get excited for when we get more than what we’re asking for. For my pre-trial (for custody and placement of my daughter) we were assigned a court commissioner who notoriously sides with the Dads, and also historically would not agree to or put in place things we were asking for. Tristan submitted the perfect evidence and spoke to it beautifully. The court commissioner gave us what we were asking for. It was a major win. She called me afterwards and we allowed ourselves to celebrate a little. But then got back to work. After everything was settled I’ve still been able to email with questions, and she always answers me. I wouldn’t have gotten through my custody/placement trials without her.
