I learned after hiring Brendan the value of finding a lawyer knowledgeable with what I needed him to do. Instead of using a general attorney, or an attorney specialized in foreclosure/bankruptcy, I needed something specific, experience with foreclosure/real estate who could help me BUY not SELL a home. Brendan's experience let him give me a better price than attorneys who by their own admission didn't know what they were getting themselves into. He's proactive about letting me know why he's busy when he can't get back to me right away making me feel heard.

Brendan did a phenomenal job of handing my extreme cases of debt. He was very easygoing, easy to talk to, answered all my questions in a knowledgeable way. What I thought would be a stressful experience turned out to be very simple. Brendan made sure he answered all my questions that I had & I would recommend him to anybody that is debating bankruptcy or has any question about it in general.

We reached out to Brendan to handle our bankruptcy case and I'm so glad we chose him! We were very nervous because we had no idea how to even get started with filing for bankruptcy, but Brendan made the entire process so simple from start to finish. I hired attorney Brendan Lee McAvoy to handle a Bankruptcy case for me ,which was some thing I had a very hard time dealing with. I found him to be very understanding in my situation . He made sure I was well informed of all options and showed me the best way to go, I live in the western district and he was even willing to drive to Madison for the final date. He was also very affordable and was also very good at returning any call's or messages that I had the same day.I find him to be a very upstanding attorney and would recommend his services to anyone!!!!

I had gotten behind on my mortgage payments. Mr. McAvoy helped me to avoid foreclosure and get back on track with my payments. We met several times and he is very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and was very efficient with handling all of the paperwork and filings that needed to be done. I would recommend him to anyone who needed help with a foreclosure.

I contacted the attorney on a reference as I had a real estate legal issue regarding rental property. Attorney Mc Avoy was not only a great value for the money, but laid out all options and courses of actions and was very sensitive to my ideas. I relied heavily on him through several mediations and court appearances and if I need any legal advice again I feel I have someone I can count on for an honest appraisal of my situation.

While many spend years learning the basics of their chosen profession, until relationship building skill-set is evolved, the capacity to become the best in that profession is diminished. This is where Brendan excels, he truly listens, asks appropriate questions, takes the time to understand the dynamic, and provides valuable feedback.

He helped me get through a very difficult time in my life without any anxiety very effortlessly. He was very prompt with what information that he needed and handled my case perfectly.
