The city of wausau proves to have some shady attorney's. I hired Dale Eaton after a lengthy conversation about the goals I had for my peticular case. He told me everything I wanted to hear. I paid him a $2500 dollar retainer. We had a trial date set and coming up and I tried contacting Mr. Eaton several times in the coming weeks before trial with no luck. 2 days before trial I get an email from Mr.Eaton stating he was substituting another attorney by the name of Trevor Peterson because he had overbooked on another big business meeting and Trevor was to be my new attorney. Trevor has limited experience in the type of case I have. Thankfully the trial got pushed out but then Mr Eaton decides to bill me another 4997.02 for his services. That's rediculous. These people are crooks. Please don't put yourself in a shady situation like I did. Look elsewhere for a attorney that is honest and has integrity.i have hired a new attorney and I will be filing a grievance against this firm I am going to edit this review in response to their reply. I never said Trevor Peterson was a bad attorney. The problem lies with Dale Eaton who owns the firm. Mr Eaton knows better than to substitute an attorney for a client. Especially without the clients knowledge or approval and then to charge that client the amount of money he did is way left field. We will let the grievance I am filing iron this out

Attorney Mary John was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us prepare our estate documents. She made made many great suggestions and never made us feel that our questions were insignificant. Very professional and reasonably priced. Would recommend to everyone!

What a terrible experience. Over priced. Would have saved thousands of dollars not hiring them. Just a bunch of nonsense. Very dissatisfied in this firm. All you will get are invoices in the mail and NO results. And piss poor communication. Do not hire for anything with a contract.
