Very kind, caring, professional law firm, and they really know their stuff!

As an attorney I get calls quite often from many people who need help with criminal matters. I have referred many people to Julius Kim and John Lavoy through the years. They have always done excellent work for my referrals obtaining incredible results. I highly recommend them.

I have been practicing law in Southeast Wisconsin for over 28 years. Any time I need to refer a person to a lawyer for a criminal or OWI case, I refer them to Kim and LaVoy. Kim and LaVoy provides the highest level of professional services and consistently obtain favorable outcomes for clients.

Excellent Service, Misleading Results I hired Kim & Lavoy to amend a citation (reduce a misdemeanor to a lesser charge). I was told, "You do not want this on your record," so I followed their advice. Unbeknownst to me (and also uninformed by counsel), while the original charge was amended, it still appears on my record, in plain sight. Sure, I was not guilty. But from an outside perspective, I'm not concerned with the outcome. I'm wondering why this charge is listed, in the first place. It's very disconcerting, with respect to peers, colleagues, employment, etc. They did provide excellent service—aside from disclosing this critical detail. They also made my rather trivial case feel like it was a top priority. Nevertheless, I thought I was paying to drop a charge, and get it off my record. Had I been told that the original charge would still appear on my record, I would have seriously reconsidered retaining any legal services.
