I contacted Mike Laufenberg looking for help for a friend. Because of the nature of the issue, Mike was not able to help directly but took the time to make several calls to help us find someone who could and without any expectation of getting paid for his time. We are very grateful for all of his help!

Mike just wasnt a lawyer, he takes pride in every step of his work. I had questions and he answered them so I would have more of a personal understanding of what was going on. I was referred to Mike Laufenberg by another attorney and that recommendation was exactly what I needed. Mike was genuinely committed to my well being and to getting a fair settlement for my case. He was always up front and honest about what was going on with the case and in recommending what he thought was the best "course of action" for my particular case. And he really cares about his clients on a personal level. I met Mike a number of years ago after I was hit by a semi. He represented me and got me a very fair settlement in spite of me not having suffered many tangible injuries other than a couple of gashes and the emotional damage that came along with such an accident. Fast forward a few years to when I was involved in yet another car accident. Similar to my first one, I didn't have many medical bills at all. Because of this I knew that hiring an attorney wasn't the right move this time. However, due to my prior relationship with Mike, I consulted with him on numerous occasions as I negotiated a fair settlement with the insurance company. Mike was incredibly responsive and extremely helpful. We must have exchanged over 30 emails back and forth and every time he would respond within a few hours. Thanks to him I was able to negotiate a much better settlement than what I was initially offered. All this without me having hired him. This really shows a high level of care for his clients. The fact that in spite of being very busy with numerous clients (who have retained him) he still takes the time to help out (as a consultant) makes him truly remarkable. I would 150% recommend him to anyone who has been involved in a motor vehicle accident. Very trustworthy and a great professional.

I recently had a friend who needed help regarding a workplace accident regarding a negligent third party, and she did not know how to begin or who to call. I called Michael Laufenberg to inquire about his services on her behalf. He listened to my friend's situation and explained that because the incident occurred in Minnesota, he could not represent her. He asked me to have my friend document the incident and correlating injuries so he could better understand the case. She did that, and in the meantime Mike reached out to some of his colleagues who practiced in Minnesota, to gage who would be a good fit to represent her. He ended up recommending an excellent lawyer who will help my friend get the proper representation she needs. At all times Mike was caring and prompt in his responses and the actions he took on her behalf. It was obvious that he genuinely wanted to help her, regardless of the fact she was not a potential client. He helped my friend in a time of her extreme need, with no hope of monetary reward. My son and I were involved in an car accident in which we were hit head on by another driver. We both received injuries. The law firm of Laufenberg, Jassak & Laufenberg, S.C., specifically Attorney Michael Laufenberg handled my case. The accident itself was a very scary experience.
