I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura. She successfully handled every single step of my husband's I-601A waiver case. Her communication with us was simply outstanding! She often responded to emails within hours (sometimes even minutes), and I felt comfortable asking her to clarify or re-explain things when I needed some reassurance. She was patient and approachable from beginning to end. Compiling our evidence and filling out all the forms was a breeze, thanks to her excellent organization and precise instructions. In addition, Laura was pro-active and always on top of things involving our case. She was professional, yet friendly and down to earth. I have recommended Laura to all of our friends who are thinking of going through the immigration process. She is simply the best of the best! Laura Fernandez was our attorney for my husband's I-601 and I-212 waiver. His waivers had previously been denied twice when we had a different attorney representing us. I consulted with a number of attorneys including Laura after the second denial, and I felt that Laura was our best option as far as someone who thoroughly understood our case and the challenges we were facing as well as an attorney who is easy to communicate with, hard-working and reliable. I was not disappointed in any way. She was very easy to work with and gave us clear, detailed instructions on what information she needed from us (e.g. what kinds of letters, documents for proof, etc.) and gave quick, clear feedback when the documentation we provided was lacking in some way. She took the time to create a personalized approach to our case and wrote a fantastic brief explaining our very complicated story (she's an excellent writer). I had previously worked with a very experienced, highly regarded immigration attorney and my experience working with Laura was better in every way. The best part, of course, is that my husband's waivers were finally approved and he was able to return to the US as a Legal Permanent Resident after being gone for almost 7 years. She is the best immigration lawyer I know. She specializes in waivers and was the most dedicated and conscientious lawyer I have ever dealt with. She filed all paper work impeccably and in a timely manner - she was actually extremely quick with her turnaround.
