Olsen Legal Group was honest with me and very helpful in a time when I needed them the most. They were easy to reach and careful with my case. They also never mishandled my retainer which was huge!!!

Worst business/ lawyers I’ve dealt with, they missed deadlines billed me for things they didn’t do, told me numerous times that’s how it’s always done on my case, failed to respond to my emails or voicemails, told me I was lying to them when I had documented proof, didn’t even argue when opposing counsel said something I had bills showing otherwise. I had to higher another law firm to take over my case who was appalled at the mess he had to fix ( which he did in 3 months what Jarod couldn’t do it 3 yrs). Don’t use this law firm waste your time and money

Not the greatest experience. Had Godwin and wouldn’t recommend. Office lady wasn’t great either, very rude and literally laughed at me over the phone when I told her we weren’t going to keep Godwin as a future lawyer. Later found out that Godwin use to see my brother and things didn’t work out between them. Then found out that my brother had something to do with the office lady as well. Guess they thought I needed the whiplash for some reason?.. Not professional at all.

Melinda and the team at Olsen Legal Group were very attentive and detail oriented. Melinda helped me to stay focused and deliberate. She was very focused and able to ease my mind in many situations. Ultimately obtaining our desired outcome. I highly recommend Melinda and everyone at Olsen Legal Group.

Paid $1400 for a review of a trust. At face to face meeting is was obvious he spent less than an hour reviewing. Couldn't answer many of my questions, mislead me about what I was entitled to.

If I could give this firm negative stars, I would. A Wyoming legislator, Jared Olsen, owns this practice it is honestly the worst legal practice in town. I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this firm and have taken my case elsewhere. I needed to hire a lawyer and after reading a couple positive reviews I decided to go with this one, deciding they likely outweighed the several bad reviews. My experience here was horrible unfortunately. I STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere for better representation. I’m not typically one to give reviews unless I feel strongly about it and I do NOT want people having the experience I did with this firm. They will try to get you with a free consultation and then take every cent from you they can once you hire them. I contacted this firm to hire a lawyer to handle my divorce case. I personally had Ms. Godwin on my case who is new to their firm as of last year. She was very unprofessional and did not communicate well with me. She did not keep me updated and seemed too busy for me. She did not respond to emails in any kind of timely manner and when I followed up to check on the status of my case after a week of not hearing back she eventually got back to me by completely back-burnered my case, emailing me simply “I’m busy with other deadlines and will get back to you when I can”. which is completely unprofessional. She made me feel dumb for asking her questions and like I was such an inconvenience. If a lawyer is obviously too busy for a paying client they need to be upfront about it and NOT take the client. Everything was very slow going which was frustrating. Recently I sent her several documents then called over a week after sending them to follow up on what the next steps were because she had not informed me or communicated with me. She stated clearly over the phone that she had NOT looked at two documents (that I had sent over a week ago at that time!) but would get to it when she was able to and could not give me any kind of timeline for my divorce case and the next steps. I was absolutely SHOCKED when I got my final invoice after informing them I would be taking my case to another firm that I was charged for her “reviewing” the documents (several hundred dollars) on what would have been the day I sent them. Ridiculous- obviously this firm is just out to get money and is shady and dishonest. Simple as that. Other charges were inconsistent as well and these people will swindle you. Additionally, the office manager doesn’t follow through will calling back when she says she will. When I picked up my check to collect what was left in the trust and saw the amount was almost $1,000 less than the final invoice she had sent me only the day before, I questioned her about it and asked if there has been additional charges in the last 12 hours? She just innocently said “oh I thought I emailed you a new invoice?”- no. Like I said some of the charges were inconsistent and had extremely vague descriptions. This firm will overcharge you and take advantage of you. They charged me thousands of dollars for very little work. Overall, DO NOT GO HERE. They have made the process of divorce so much worse than it already is. There are way better lawyers here and it is not them. Like I said, the owner Jared Olsen is a state legislator! It’s mind boggling that he employs such unprofessional and dishonest lawyers. He’s an elected official with a business that unfortunately has no integrity whatsoever. Go somewhere else, you won’t regret it.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, my husband and I are working with the Olsen Legal Group to have my daughter adopted by my husband and it was the best choice to come here, thank you all for all your help!
