I agree with Scott and Erica. Too bad 1 star is the lowest a person can pick from. Horrible attorneys, unprofessional, and living in the shadow of 3 well known attorneys, through the website, because they are not worth going to without using those attorneys as reference on their page. Those 3 attorneys should be ashamed to be associated with this office. They are also trying to get their ratings up by having their naive receptionist, Stevi Smith, post a 5 star review on here. Pathetic, but not surprised. Lesson learned, if the office is newer and offers a free consultation, run, run far far away. Waste of money and time. Go to a well known attorney and spend your money there, no matter the cost.

Alex is a nice guy which is not really an ideal quality in a lawyer. Very willing to compromise and not fight for your best interest or at all. A close friend used him for the first 6 months of her divorce and 5000 dollars later very little advances or changes what so ever. Her new lawyer is amazing with night and day difference and only gets paid when she works on the case.

Alex did a great job during my divorce and custody battle. He was attentive, and made himself available for my many calls on counsel.

We all know that having to hire a family attorney is most often not because of a pleasant event. It has been a whirlwind the last couple years. Anyone that has gone through a bad divorce knows how difficult and stressful of a process it is. The whole thing was extremely difficult for me. It was agony going through the whole process realizing how much my life had and would continue to change. Alex, Saige and everyone at Berger & Brown helped me through this process more than just legally. Now I’m not saying they sat me down on the couch and asked me how I felt but they did treat me like a fellow human and not just a client. They are understanding, compassionate, honest, professional, thorough and extremely intelligent. They were always available and responded to emails and phone calls very quickly. As most of us know, when you are going through extreme stress it’s hard to keep your mind focused on things, especially those things that have been stressing you out. Alex always talked through all the options and explained things in the best manner possible and this was huge for me in those times of stress. Straight shooters all the way in every aspect of this whole process and very fair with what they charge. I would absolutely recommend Berger & Brown to anyone.

No One Like John Cotton!!! I was a single mom of three boys when I slipped on ice and shattered my wrist, and had to have surgery. Not able to work for a few months, and hospital bills, plus general monthly expenses where adding up fast. John and his staff went out of their way to help me get my claim filed and settled fast as they could. They return your phone calls right away, and always kept in touch with me to let me know just what was going on. John Cotton and his staff are truly AMAZING people !!!!!
