I was involved in a really bad situation that would've cost me points on my license and a misdemeanor on my record. The court appointed me an Attorney who told me that the D.A. wasn't willing to negotiate and I should just accept having points on my license and a criminal offense on my record. I thought about it and told him " I'll think about it".. The next day I said a prayer and God told me " Get an Attorney, who isn't court appointed !!! ". I searched the internet and came across " The Law Office of Kenneth Mollins". After reading the awesome reviews , I gave them a call. I spoke with Tim and he assured me that he will keep fighting until I got the best deal available. He kept fighting for me until I walked away with an offer of no points on my license, a traffic ticket, and a reasonable amount of time to pay it. I highly recommend their Law Office because they are extremely knowledgeable, competent, helpful, affordable and they patiently address any questions or concerns you may have as a client. They will always be my go to Law Firm.

I highly recommend Amber L Cain for family law matters. Before choosing a lawyer, I had several consultations and I felt that she was the most genuine and sincere. Frugal Legal Services should be the staple for how all parents are represented in custody cases. Ms. Burroughs worked hard and diligently on my case and set realistic expectations. My case had a ton of unrelated issues to custody and Ms. Burroughs was completely understanding and worked through our nearly 9 month case. Ms. Burroughs is a magical and enlightening person who gets results. I went from having no contact with my children to now everything is 50/50 and I get to see my sons every other week and have the assurance that no one should be able to change that. The only shame here is that I can only give Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services 5 stars because it doesn’t let you show off the absolute brilliance of the firm or Ms. Burroughs. Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services are the prime and top option of any family matters should anyone require those services. I will recommend them for my entire life because of the amazing work that was done.

Thankfully I have not needed the services of Millar Legal personally, but I know two others that have. The theme always seems to be that Aaron is a highly skilled attorney, without question, but the difference for them was how personable and compassionate Aaron was during an (obviously) stressful and emotional time. I personally know Aaron through other professional channels and can attest to the fact that he genuinely cares for people, beyond just the courtroom. I began the divorce process in October of 2021. At the time, I had different counsel. Nearly a year into the saga, I was referred to Aaron through another family law attorney. Once I hired Aaron, I knew I had the right attorney.
My case was very high conflict. Aaron would ask my thoughts and ideas on the best way to navigate all the roadblocks that were thrown our way. Aaron was always calm. He was a voice of reason. He would ask questions to ensure he understood what I needed. Aaron did not always agree with me. When we didn’t agree, he explained his position and the most likely outcome. He was quick to return emails or phone calls. I could count on a response within 24-48 hours.
My case ultimately ended up at trial. I appreciated Aaron’s honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. He was very thoughtful with all of the motions and exhibits he presented to the Court, as he understood the Court does not have a lot of time to spend on each case. At trial, Aaron was able to take hundreds of pages of information and display them on a spreadsheet that was easy for everyone, including the judge, to understand. During the first day of trial, the Judge held up Aaron’s spreadsheet specific to alimony. It detailed previous martial expenses, current expenses and predicted expenses. The Judge shook it above his head while exclaiming that is how it should be done! While making his ruling, the Judge once again commented how helpful Aaron’s presentation was in determining alimony. Aaron was always in control: control of himself, control of the room, control of the issues, control of the evidence.
Aaron was able to get me full physical and legal custody of my 16 year old, he successfully negotiated that she determine parent time and secured more alimony than I ever wanted or expected.
Aaron and I made a great team. Normally I would approach Aaron with a solution to the latest problem. Aaron was always open to my ideas; he wasn’t threatened by my involvement. I had some ideas that were unconventional but checked off all of the boxes when it came to the law. Aaron was willing to advocate for me even though he didn’t know what the outcome would be. Aaron was very methodical. He was not ego driven. Aaron did what was best for his client, not what was the easiest or most popular. Whether he agreed with me or not, Aaron would always hear me out. My prior counsel dismissed me even when I had what ultimately became the winning strategy.
I will always recommend Millar Legal to anyone that finds themself needing legal representation, specifically in a high conflict divorce case.

I had a consultation with this attorney and then chose to retain her. She discussed all of the things she would do during the consultation and those things unfortunately never happened. I was transparent in the consultation that this was a complex custody case. When she entered an Order to Show Cause for my case, it was terrible. I have shown that to attorneys and all of them asked where the rest of it was and stated it wasn't entered properly either. This attorney was 40 minutes late to my hearing and unprepared. When the Judge asked her questions about my case, she looked at me and told me to answer the Judge. I could have done a better job representing myself. I do not recommend her for any custody cases. She sent me invoices where she double billed me for the same service on two different occasions amounting to approximately $1100. She sent me invoices with someone else's address on them. It took about a month for me to get refunded the rest of my retainer. Hiring her was a terrible experience and I am confused by the good reviews. When I retained another attorney to represent my case, he told me that people can pay for good reviews, and he has had cases against this attorney, and she was consistently late and unprepared. If you are looking for representation for a complex custody case, please find another attorney for you and your family. If you look at her account on Avvo, there are five star reviews being entered every two days. I was told that is a site you can pay for good reviews to be posted. I would pay attention to the lower rated comments and reviews for her on lawyers.com. They seem to describe her well. I wish I had seen those before I retained her.
I am editing this so I can respond to JoAnn's response. I spoke in detail to her about my previous attorney in which JoAnn stated I needed to retain her to further eliminate more damage being done by my previous attorney. I did retain JoAnn and never thought I would have ended up in a more damaging position. There is nothing pending on the Court calendar for my case because the attorney I retained after her did their job, was prepared, and on time; the case has been resolved with my new attorney. JoAnn was also out of town excessively, took several weeks to file an Order to Show Cause which was created terribly, consistently missed phone calls from the opposing attorney, and rarely responded to me. I also don't recall her giving me any advice about my case once she was retained; she was only my attorney for one appearance when she was 40 minutes late, unprepared, and didn't know any details of my case. I wish she had responded to me as quickly as she did to my review when she was my attorney. I also wish she put that effort into my case when representing me like she did in her response to my review. I would highly recommend anyone want to retain this attorney for a complex custody case look elsewhere, and at the very least, complete several consultations with attorneys to make sure you find the correct fit for your family and your case.

I called Sarah Gold's law firm to ask about forming a LLC in New York. I did some research prior to my call but was confused as heck and was not confident in dealing with the state. Ms. Gold walked me through the process, answered my questions, and told me her fee. I thought the fee was competitive, keeping in mind it included state fees and public notice fees. We communicated online, she had to search to see if my LLC name was not prohibited or duplicative. I also asked for her to set up a DBA and she did that. It was so obvious that she new what she was doing, a true expert professional . She did all the filing, advertising and DBA in a day and I had what I legally needed hours later. she emailed me copies of the application filing, receipts and most important my official LLC. I would use Sarah Gold without any hesitation and I highly recommend you do too.

I knew I would have an extremely difficult divorce. From day one Lauren told me she would handle my case with dignity and get me divorced as quickly as possible and she did. I spent a week consulting lawyers about our case, they all needed to do research before agreeing to take the case.
I emailed Mrs. Donna Medina at 1:15 a.m. on a Sunday morning regarding our urgent case, she called me back at 3:30 am and gave instructions on how to proceed. That Monday, Donna stepped into a highly complicated case and showed exceptional legal prowess. The instructions from the 1st session wound up being pivotal to the case being resolved in our favor. She guided us through a complicated process taking over 2 years and four courts to resolve. She managed the technical/legal process while acting as a counselor to help keep our emotions intact. She kept the 'Family' in family law. No call, email or text went unanswered, she was extremely responsive. Donna’s experience, professionalism and attention to detail stood out as our case moved all the way to the State Supreme Court for rulings. I honestly don’t even know where to start with this review. Donna Medina is one of the best people I have ever met. I had an extremely complicated child custody case, and she handled it SO perfectly. She truly cares about me and my girls. She was there for me emotionally and always made me feel like I was her only case , even though I knew how busy she was.
