Farah Ahmed is a very capable and efficient lawyer. I chose Ms. Ahmed to handle my divorce because her firm was highly recommended by a friend of mine.
During my first consultation she asked a lot of questions about my situation. She mentioned a few problem areas that she would have to look into, but, at the end, she gave me a good overview of how the case would proceed and how it would end up. Her overview ended up being quite accurate.
Ms. Ahmed is very thorough and organized. She stayed on top of the case throughout, making sure that the necessary documents were supplied by both sides. She does not mess around and gets straight to the point. You shouldn’t expect a lot of chit-chat from her. Nevertheless, she is very pleasant and easy to get along with.
She was able to foresee multiple pitfalls and roadblocks and was able to get around them. Ultimately, she got me to a good resolution. I don’t think that I could have hoped for better.

I hired Kenneth Kaplan to help with me with a very complicated divorce case. A number of attorneys preceded him and were unable to make any forward progress: in fact, a couple of them only served to make things worse. He reviewed over 1000 pages of case files and quickly had a thorough understanding of the issues. The case involved custody of a minor child and a number of financial matters. I found Mr. Kaplan to be a consummate professional who not only took pride in his work but also cared about the outcome of the proceedings. He was easy to get hold of and always returned my phone calls promptly. His advice and court action were always based in fact and tempered by financial practicalities. His advice created appropriate expectations and oftentimes served to dampen down my desire to move forward in a manner based more on my emotions than on my intellect. In the end, I avoided useless court time and unnecessary fees. The results he obtained for me on every level have been wonderful, a real blessing. Chris helped me with a long aggravating divorce which was made harder because of a some other family items outside of just my marriage. He was very easy to reach and very good at responding to my texts and emails. Chris worked very hard with my ex wife’s lawyers trying to get things settled. Being across the country and way out of my state and jurisdiction, I wasn't sure what to expect. From the minute I connected with them they were kind, organized and responsive.
