Going through a divorce is not easy. The emotional and psychological toll is at the for front and can affect ones decision making. Kyle Farmer knew how to both be empathetic and understanding but be professional in all aspects through my divorce journey. Diane was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole 9 month fight my ex put up. He hadn't seen my son in 10 years. My son wanted my husband to legally be his dad. Mr. Lister should be on the top of the Best Top Ten List for Rockwall County attorneys. I was part of a Court Watchers group in a different county and have seen the worst. Mr. Lister, a retired Marine, is a man of integrity who served his country well. I spent many hours researching other lawyers before choosing Mr. Mark Lister. The research paid off in spades. He worked with me to bring an end to a 48 year marriage. He was honest about the difficult months ahead and the best approach to a ending with mediation as opposed going to trial. Mr. Lister never hurried through a meeting over the very difficult financial issues. He returned calls and emails within a reasonable time, a major issue with many lawyers. Nothing was overlooked in the mediation and final decree. My final bill was more than fair for the amount of hard work he put in to my case.

I am going to be honest! After my daughter came to me for help and looking for an attorney on very short notice and court date approaching less than a week I did not know where to turn. When I spoke to Mark I knew he was the attorney that we needed to hire based on his wisdom, openness to hearing every little detail of the custody issue, the time he put into the case, and feeling he truly cared about the case and well being of my grandson made it known to me he was the right person for the case. It's never easy getting a divorce. I can say it was the most stressful event I have gone through. However, having Kristen in my corner helped to minimize my stress level. I knew she was looking out for my best interest. She was very knowledgeable about the law. When my Ex's attorney tried to pull some funny business, she nixed it immediately.

My initial impression of Tracie was that she was very direct and I appreciated that. Her knowledge about the opposing counsel and warnings about her were invaluable and her advice about what, when and how to reply to various communications were insightful and helpful. She was able to identify maneuvers that ultimately saved me a good amount of money.
Tracie's staff was equally competent in terms of efficiency and speed. Preliminary Disclosures and other paperwork were completed in a very short amount of time, and they were always very thorough about everything.
What sets Tracie apart from what I thought about attorneys is that she doesn't compromise her morals regarding decisions and it is her ability to balance efficiency and detail while ensuring I understood everything that was what impressed me the most.

I got James as my attorney after my final agreement had been signed. James had to fight to get the final agreement changed because I would have been paying her bills for the rest of her life. He worked with me when my money ran out and trusted I would pay him later. He discounted my fees because he knew I had been taken advantage of. He gave me other legal advice not related to divorce. When you are with James you really feel like he is on your side and not just trying to close a deal. The only problem is he is so good that he stays busy a lot. Do yourself a favor if you need a divorce attorney. Hire James.

I first hired Mr. Lagman back in 2002-2004 I believe to handle a Probate case. Well I got into my feelings and did an awful thing just blaming everyone. But he did a great job on my case. He handled my case with the utmost respect and dignity. He filed and answered all Motions in a timely matter. He filed motions that were needed to win my case. Things didn't move as fast as I wanted to because during that time I didn't understand that cases like the one I had do take time so I ended up discharging him which was a big mistake. I have used Cheryl to handle several matters and am astounded at the success. She is the most knowledgeable attorney I have met in regards to divorce, PPO's and the legal process in general. Attorney Hanisco was simply amazing through my entire ordeal. No matter how small or how big my questions were she always took the time to make sure that I totally understood her answers. I never felt that if I said to her I don't understand she would be upset having to explain it all over again. She stayed right on top of my case the entire time. I was always contacted each and every time there was any information or movement for my case. Once may "day in court" arrived I was very very nervous. Again, she was able to keep me calm by saying we were not leaving that conference room until I was completely calm and I understood everything. Once we were called, I knew I had hired the right attorney. She was calm but yet spoke with authority and confidence. At one point I thought I was going to faint. I'd like to share my story for those people out there in that difficult place of needing an attorney. First and foremost, I definitely recommend Lauren's law firm for any & all needs of family law. This is my story of why my wife & I feel this way & want to get the word out to folks that have that unsure/hard decision of hiring an attorney in front of them. Hopefully this can help someone from having to throw a dart at a list of attorney names or get one recommended to you from friends & family that for whatever reason forget the bad stuff & never admit they got rolled by "their" attorney as if the attorney is "theirs".
My wife & I just finished our adoption of our grandson. Yes, everything from starting with sole managing conservators, termination of parental rights, home study, etc etc etc. We unfortunately started this process with a different attorney. Constant struggle with straight and/or timely answers. Couldn't keep the original situation or progress story straight, it was like having to recap from the start every time & you bet she had the billing clock going even due to her sloppiness. Problem we were faced with is once you get the ball rolling with one attorney, original petition filed, it's a pain & costly pain to change representation, because like in my case first attorney was a flake and redo's had to happen. Now the positive part of our story. By shear luck I called Lauren's office & made appointment. Go in for consultation & WOW what a breath of fresh air. Genuine attention to me, professional, approachable, and easy on the eyes "just a bonus". I was very impressed with their attention to detail, explanation of the law, communication of multiple strategies to achieve desired result with outlined plan, then final recap to in sure claraity. In the fall of 2023, I was arrested and charged with 5 major drug felonies. My house was raided and I was immediately taken into custody. That night I was taken in front of the judge and had the charges slowly read to me one by one. The following were read: Drug Trafficking, Possession, Possession with Intent to Distribute and so on. My bail was set at a quarter million dollars; I was looking at decades in prison. I was hopeless, scared and at a loss for words. From this moment on my life was officially over. To make matters worse, I have no family or close friends in the state of South Carolina. At this point I knew God himself couldn’t get me out of this, or maybe I was wrong! When I was placed in a jail cell that evening my mind was racing, I was scared and alone. Where do I turn?
Just a few months prior I had the pleasure of meeting Attorney Adam Touma. He told me, he owns his own law firm, and to call him if I ever needed anything. This is exactly what I did and it was the best decision I made. The very next morning I was called out of my cell and told that I had a visitor. It was him. Attorney Adam Touma assured me that I was not alone, that he and his team were there for me every step of the way. Within no time my bail was drastically reduced and I was released from jail. Guess who was waiting outside for me? Yup, Adam! The journey from there lasted a full year. Attorney Touma and his team would keep in touch with me as well as my family every few weeks. They were the ones reaching out, not me.
Fast forward to today. Four out of five felony charges were dismissed. I am now facing one, Drug Trafficking. Attorney Touma also got this reduced to a possession charge.
